SPEAK HEAVENLY WORDS

SPEAK HEAVENLY WORDS,
(Communicate With Holy Ghost-Inspired Communication),

📖TO THE BIBLE John 12:49-50 CEV
“I don’t speak on my own. I say only what the Father who sent me has told me to say. I know that his commands will bring eternal life. That is why I tell you exactly what the Father has told me.”

LET’S TALK➡
Derrick was an inspiring Christian rap artiste; he’d released two smash-hit singles and begun to get some recognition from other performers in the secular world. They approached him, advising that he should, (since he was becoming famous) now release songs that were different from the message of Jesus Christ to gain more popularity. Derrick refused all that, because he knew where his inspiration had come from—the Lord Jesus. He’d been given the innate ability to compose and rap verses of inspiration and heavenly praise, and he wasn’t about to perform words inspired by the world!

Jesus tells us in the verses above that everything that He said came from the Father. He also said, “…I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak” (John 12:50). Amazing! In John 20:21, He said, “…Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” He wasn’t only talking to Peter, James, John or the other Apostles, but to us today. Thus, the same way He spoke the Father’s words, words from heaven, we’re to speak heavenly words; divine words.

Hebrews 13:5-6 says, “…He Himself has said…So we may boldly say….” Don’t speak from yourself, speak His Word. Be a master of words like Jesus. He said, “I don’t speak my own words.” That’s why He was a victor at every count and had the forces of nature under control. He lived the life of heaven on earth.

God designed divinity to be released through words! Words are unlimited because they go into the realm of the spirit. You can speak from your closet, and it will have an impact anywhere in the world. Therefore, when you have a situation to deal with, meditate on the Word; soak your spirit in the Word until only the Word comes out of your mouth—divine from heaven. Hallelujah!

VICTORY BY THE SPIRIT

January 8, 2019 By admin Leave a Comment

STAND ON THE WORD OF GOD FOR YOURSELF

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL;

9TH JANUARY , 2019 BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME;

VICTORY BY THE SPIRIT;

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us (Romans 8:37).

In Exodus Chapter 17, we read something very inspiring about how Joshua defeated Amalek. Moses had gone with Aaron and Hur to the top of the mountain with the rod of God in his hand, as Joshua battled the Amalekites.

As the battle progressed, Aaron and Hur noticed that every time Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed in the battle against Amalek. However, when his hand went down, Amalek prevailed. They decided therefore to support Moses by lifting his hands on either side, while Moses sat on a stone. Then, the Bible says, “… Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword” (Exodus 17:13).

What could have been the connection between a man’s hands and an ongoing battle? This was a spiritual law at work. It wasn’t enough to have the rod in his hand; he needed to lift his hand. Something was happening in the spirit as those hands were lifted towards heaven.

There’s victory and power through our hands. Paul said, “I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands…” (1 Timothy 2:8). Practise this, and you’ll see more successes and victories in your life this year. Learn to lift your hands to the Lord as you set your mind on Him in prayer and worship; it’s a strategy of the Spirit for your continual victory and life of ever-increasing glory.

It doesn’t matter what comes against you; you can win by the power of the Holy Spirit. Your hands aren’t empty. When you lift your hands, they’re God’s hands. At the Red Sea, God said to Moses, “…stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it…” (Exodus 14:16). When you lift your hands, God responds. Oh, blessed be God!

2 Corinthians 2:14 says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” Your victory has been settled; all you have to do is walk in the light of it. Study the Word to know and play your role in the divine experience.

PRAYER

Thanks be unto God who always leads me in perpetual victory parade. I’m strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. I win every day by the power of the Holy Spirit, for my steps are ordered by His wisdom, and every challenge crumbles before me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

USE YOUR TONGUE CORRECTLY

December 29, 2018 By admin 1 Comment

As Christians, we’re born of God's Word

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

USE YOUR TONGUE CORRECTLY,

Monday, December 31st , 2018

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome ,

Whoever wants to embrace life and see the day fill up with good, Here’s what you do: Say nothing evil or hurtful (1 Peter 3:10 MSG).

The New Year is only hours away and I’m sure you’ve had so much to celebrate and be grateful to the Lord for in the outgoing year. Of course, while some are celebrating and testifying about the year, some others may be feeling dejected, wondering why their lives were full of pain and suffering in the outgoing year, and then hoping that in the New Year, things will be different.

Now, whether or not you had a fantastic, supernatural 2018, there’s hope for the future. You have to decide that you’re going to have an extraordinary 2019. God’s Word shows you how. If where you are right now isn’t where you want to be, it’s your responsibility to change things; and the tool for this is in your mouth!

Our opening verse says if you want to have your days filled up with goodness and good things, use your tongue correctly. How do you want your life to be in the coming year? It’s up to you! Speak in line with God’s Word; in line with the experiences you want to have. It’s that simple.

Your life goes where your words go; you journey in the direction of your words. Therefore, let your communication be wholesome. Don’t voice fear, uncertainties, and unbelief; affirm the Word. Practise this, and you’ll experience the blessings of the Word; your experiences will be in sync with the Word and the realities of the Kingdom life. Jesus said you shall have what you say (Mark 11:23).

As you go into the New Year, one of the critical decisions you must make is to yield your tongue to the Word! Practise talking right, and watch your life consistently go forward and upward!

CONFESSION

My tongue is anointed to speak forth truths; truths relating to the Kingdom; truths of my heritage in Christ! I bless the Lord for a glorious New Year ahead, where I prosper exceedingly and triumph gloriously by the Word, through the Holy Ghost, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

PRAY MORE IN TONGUES .

Saturday, December 29th , 2018

Pastor Chris

He who speaks in a [spiritual] tongue edifies and improves himself… (1 Corinthians 14:4).

The importance of praying in tongues can never be overemphasised. As a Christian, to significantly improve your spiritual growth and comprehension, praying in tongues is an extremely vital element. But sadly, there’re those who say, “Well, our church doesn’t believe in speaking in tongues.” Understand that speaking in tongues isn’t a denominational phenomenon. Every Christian ought to speak in tongues! That’s where the secret of power is.

Our opening verse says, “He who speaks in a [spiritual] tongue edifies and improves himself….” The question is, do you want to improve yourself? Do you want to operate at a new level of spiritual maturity and efficiency this incoming year? Do you desire to make tremendous progress and take giant strides in all affairs of life? Speaking in tongues will help. The Bible says, “But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit” (Jude 1:20 AMPC).

Praying in tongues will help you make progress, and cause you to rise like an edifice, higher and higher. The more you pray in tongues, the more sensitive you are to the Spirit, to receive and follow His guidance in all you do.

For example, maybe you don’t yet know the precise steps to take to expand or advance your ministry, business, or career in the coming year; take some time to speak in tongues. You’ll have spiritual insight and foresight.

Another important advantage of speaking in tongues is that it charges you up, like a battery. And when a battery is fully charged, it works effectively and lasts longer. Satan may throw darts at you, to distract you, but praying in the Holy Ghost makes you formidable; you’ll be able to withstand anything, and resist every evil.

Any time you face challenges in your life, get into your closet, and speak in tongues; charge yourself. When you’re done, you’ll be filled with the wisdom to prevail and excel. Keep yourself perpetually “high” on God’s power by speaking in tongues always!

CONFESSION

I’m built up, thriving on my most holy faith, making progress by the supernatural, and rising like an edifice, ever higher and higher, as I pray in the Holy Ghost! I’m never disadvantaged! Glory to God!

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE POWER WITHIN

August 2, 2018 By admin Leave a Comment

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE POWER WITHIN

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).

Ephesians 3:20 tells us that God, “…is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” This means He does what He plans to do in your life through His power that’s at work in you. He doesn’t want to work outside you, but from within you. Imagine if you functioned with this knowledge all your life! Colossians 2:9-10 says, in Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and we are complete in Him. Imagine knowing this, and living with the same consciousness every day; what an extraordinary difference it’ll make in your life! It’s one thing to know you have something; it’s another to know how to use it. Some don’t even know they have anything, and so they can’t even begin to think of how to use it.

The Apostle Paul wrote about himself: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13).

Notice, he didn’t say, “We can do all things.” He was talking about himself; this was his personal testimony. This understanding imbued him with a different mentality. He didn’t think in terms of what he could or couldn’t do. God wants you to always acknowledge that you’re sufficient in His sufficiency and His ability within you!

Acknowledge, and affirm, always that God is at work in you. Take advantage of His inherent power in you.

REDEMPTION AND REMISSION

July 27, 2018 By admin Leave a Comment

WHY THE RESURRECTION IS IMPORTANT BY PASTOR CHRIS

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES;

28TH JULY , 2018 ; PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME;

REDEMPTION AND REMISSION;

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace (Ephesians 1:7).

“Redemption” in the verse above, is the Greek word, “apolutrosis” and it means riddance. In Christ, we have our riddance. He rids or plucks you out of trouble, and rids your life of anything that’s wrong. So, you can say, “I have my riddance in Christ, no matter what!” That’s redemption. It doesn’t matter what mess you may think you’re in, you can trust Him to get you out.

In Christ Jesus, we also have remission of sins. The King James translation uses the word “Forgiveness” of sins, but the Greek word is “aphesis” and it means remission; the total removal or blotting away of sins. God did much more than forgive us; He blotted out our sins. There’s no trace or record of your sins; it’s as though you never sinned.

That’s why it’s wrong for a Christian to keep a consciousness of sin. Some are forever praying and asking God for forgiveness, because they’re always overwhelmed by the burden of sin-consciousness. The truth is that the Bible never tells us to ask God for forgiveness. God never made provision for your “forgiveness.” This might upend some people’s theology, but it’s a present truth.

To forgive means to pardon, in which case the record of wrong remains, though you’ll not be punished. But that’s not the case with God and us. The actual Greek rendering is “to take away completely, to put away, blot out, separate from.” You might want to ask, “How about 1 John 1:9 that says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness?”

What that simply means is that if we acknowledge (confess) our sins, God is faithful and just to put them away, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. There’s an automatic cleansing going on. That’s what it says in the seventh verse: “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” (1 John 1:7).

God wants you to walk free of guilt or condemnation! He wants you to walk in the light of your riddance, your righteousness, your justification, your holiness, and your sanctification in Christ Jesus, not snowed-under by guilt or sin-consciousness.

PRAYER

Thank you dear Father for this glorious truth in your Word! Christ is my riddance; He rids me of trouble, and of anything that’s inconsistent with the provisions of the Gospel. I walk victorious, conscious of my right-standing with you, and my triumphant life in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THE IMPORTANCE OF CHRIST’S SUFFERING

July 25, 2018 By admin Leave a Comment

GOD CREATES NEW DESTINIES

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

THURSDAY, 26TH JULY 2018;

THE IMPORTANCE OF CHRIST’S SUFFERING

Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow (1 Peter 1:10-11).

Luke 24:46-47 says, “…Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” The crucifixion of Christ was necessary for the salvation of man; salvation couldn’t have been accomplished otherwise. Our opening scripture talks about the glory that follows the sufferings of Christ. Part of that glory is the salvation of man.

Salvation is an all-encompassing word that encapsulates all that God wrought for us in Christ: life, health, wealth, prosperity, abundance, etc. He suffered for your sake. He was your substitute on the cross. He took your place that you might take His place. Your place was that of sin and death; His place was that of life and righteousness.

The Bible says, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). He was made sin for us, who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus didn’t just save you from sin; He gave you His life and nature.

When you cometo therealization of the importance of the sacrifice of Christ, then you’ll appreciate His vicarious death and appropriate the benefits of salvation in your life. Today, sin and its effects and consequences have no dominion over you. You’re free to serve the Lord and live for Him. You’re now accepted in the presence of God, all because of Jesus.

Man became separated from the glory-life due to Adam’s transgression, but as a result of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the glory has been restored. You were brought into that life of glory the moment you were born again.

*CONFESSION*

I manifest the glory and righteousness of God, because I have His life and nature in my spirit. Jesus suffered in my place; therefore, I live in the ensuing glory and beauty of His vicarious sacrifice. My life is upward and forward, and my light shines ever more brightly, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Isaiah 53:1‭-‬5 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. 3He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

II Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

I Peter 2:21‭-‬24 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: 22 “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;
23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed.

A PURE LANGUAGE OF THE SPIRIT

June 20, 2018 By admin Leave a Comment

Rhapsody of Realities Teevo

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL ;

21ST JUNE, 2018 ; PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME;

A PURE LANGUAGE OF THE SPIRIT;

For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also (1 Corinthians 14:14-15).

No matter how many earthly languages exist, there’re not enough words in the human vocabulary with which to adequately and accurately express yourself to God. Our human earthly vocabulary isn’t pure enough to commune with the holy God that our heavenly Father is. That’s the reason the Holy Spirit gave us a language, pure and holy, with which to communicate in a way that’s acceptable to God: praying in other tongues.

Many only know how to pray in their understanding; that is, in their native language, but that won’t take you far enough. No matter how beautiful your words are in any earthly language, and how loaded with revelation they are, they’re no match for the pure language of the Spirit.

It’s for this reason that Paul, by the Spirit, penned the words we read in the latter part of our opening verse. Notice that praying with the spirit comes before praying with the understanding. Sadly, some Christians would rather pray with their understanding first, and then pray with the spirit, if they do pray in the spirit at all. They’ve made praying with the spirit the “also,” and that’s the wrong order.

Before you pray with your understanding, pray intensely and profusely first with the spirit. In fact, your praying in the understanding would be more effectual if you’d pray first with the spirit. And praying with the spirit doesn’t mean shutting your eyes and being mute, hoping that somehow, God’s looking into your sincere heart to know what you want; no. It means praying in tongues; praying in the language of the Spirit—a divine coded language. Your mind can’t interpret what you’re saying, but in the realm of the spirit, you’re speaking mysteries.

The devil and his cohorts of darkness are confounded when we pray in other tongues, for it’s an esoteric language for our direct communication with our heavenly Father. What a privilege and blessing to be able to access and speak forth divine mysteries and secrets from the realm of the Spirit. Blessed be God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the blessing and privilege of being able to speak in tongues. My life is excellent and full of glory because of the awesome ministry of the Holy Spirit in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

BE QUICK TO ACT

June 15, 2018 By admin Leave a Comment

GOD CREATES NEW DESTINIES

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL ;

16TH JUNE, 2018 ; PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME;

BE QUICK TO ACT;

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves (James 1:22).

One of the ways to make the Word of God effective in your life is by acting quickly on it. Never be hesitant or slothful to act on God’s Word. Many miss too much without realizing it when they’re slow or hesitant to act on the Word.

Whatever instruction the Lord gives to you, whatever inspiration comes to you as you study the Word or listen to it preached and taught in church, respond swiftly. That’s the kind of faith-response that gets God’s attention. When you respond swiftly to God, He’ll always respond quickly to you as well.

The Bible says, “Quench not the Spirit” (1 Thessalonians 5:19). That means you can quench the Spirit, after He has tried to no avail to stir you up and have you do something for which you were either hesitant or unresponsive. When your faith is stirred, it’s an indication of the Spirit of God working in you; don’t suppress His work in you. Act immediately on whatever instruction, guidance or direction He gives you, even when such doesn’t seem to appeal to the senses.

Think about it: To the man who had a paralyzed limb, and couldn’t move his hand, Jesus said, “…Stretch forth thine hand…” (Matthew 12:13). If the man had tried to rationalize the instruction instead of responding swiftly, perhaps he’d have lost his miracle. Peter and John did the same thing to the man at the gate of the temple called Beautiful.

After Peter ministered healing to him, he yanked the man up, and the Bible says, “…and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.” The man was smart; he dared to act on his healing: “And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God” (Acts 3:8).

Don’t be hesitant or reluctant when it comes to acting on God’s Word. Be smart to respond boldly and swiftly in doing the Word, for that’s how to honour the Lord in your life.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I’m quick to act on your Word, and have it produce in me the message that it carries. I’m transformed, strengthened and energised for the glory-life as I live in, and by your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

ACTIVATING HIS POWER THROUGH WORSHIP

June 12, 2018 By admin Leave a Comment

Christian Daily Devotional

ACTIVATING HIS POWER THROUGH WORSHIP

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever (2 Chronicles 20:21).

As Christians, God hears and answers when we pray, but how to make His power that is released on our behalf work for us is what many don’t know. One of the ways to activate that power is through praise! Throughout the Scriptures, we find amazing and inspiring accounts of how God delivered His people from imminent destruction and dire circumstances, when they activated His power through praise.

Three nations—Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir—came out against Judah and made ready to attack her. However, King Jehoshaphat was wise. He gathered all Judah together to seek the Lord in prayer and fasting. When they prayed, God revealed to them the exact location of their enemies’ camp, and gave them the strategy to defeat them. 2 Chronicles 20:22 says, “When they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.” When trouble strikes, like Jehoshaphat, “put the singers in front” and you’ll have the same result.

Don’t wait until you feel like singing before you make a melody in your heart and sing praises unto the Lord. Whether you feel like it or not, whether you’re happy or not, praise Him all the same. Paul and Silas experienced a supernatural jailbreak by offering this kind of unusual praise.

For preaching the Gospel, they were tortured and incarcerated in a Roman maximum-security prison. However, at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises to God. As they did, the power of God was activated and they were supernaturally set free (Acts 16:25-26). This miraculous encounter led to the salvation of the prison warden and his entire family. You may be faced with a difficult situation today for which you’ve prayed and confessed that it’s all working out for your good, yet, nothing seems to have changed. Don’t give up! It’s time you offered to God the unusual praise. Speak and sing joyous tongues of praise and thanksgiving, and as you do, the power of God will move on your behalf, and you’ll have a great Miracle.
