God has destined you to reign and rule in life as a king. Not only does He want you to know you’re royalty, He also expects you to live as one.
To The Bible Revelation 1:5-6
“And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
When you wake up each morning and look at yourself in the mirror, tell the one on the other side, “You’re royalty!” Practise walking, talking, and acting as a king or queen, because that’s who God sees when He looks at you! Remember, the Bible calls Him the King of kings; He’s the Mighty King, but we’re kings under Him. So don’t hold a negative picture of yourself as one who’s helpless or needy.
As God’s royalty, you’ve been divinely delegated to exercise authority and dominion over the devil and demonic forces of darkness. Ecclesiastes 8:4 says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power….” Your words are backed with power to change any negative situation, and put the devil to flight each time. Kings talk bold; they’re not at the mercy of anyone, and it’s not in their nature to be apologetic. So, when you issue commands to Satan or decree a change in any negative situation, do it with authority and boldness, because you know that when you make a decree, it is established (Job 22:28).
Living daily with this consciousness will impact positively on your prayer life. Rather than “beg” God in prayer, you’ll pray like the righteous—with authority and power!
Go Deeper 1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 5:9-10
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for making me royalty and teaching me to live as one. When I give the Word, things change! I reign in life through righteousness today, and by the power of your Spirit that’s at work in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Be bold and make kingly decrees concerning yourself, your family, schoolwork and everything else; speak in line with the Word of God, and whatever you say will happen (Mark 11:23)!
The Holy Communion, known also as the Lord’s Supper, represents the greatest expression of God’s love for His people.
Two items are used in the Holy Communion—the bread which represents Jesus’ body that was scourged and broken before and during His crucifixion, and the cup which represents His shed blood.
When Jesus walked on earth, He was vibrant, and His body was full of life and health. He was never sick. But before Jesus went to the cross, He was badly scourged by the Roman soldiers, and His body was torn as He hung on the cross.
At the cross, God also took all our sicknesses and diseases and put them on Jesus’ originally perfect and healthy body, so that we can walk in divine health. That is why the Bible says by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24).
In Luke 22:20, Jesus tells us that the cup is the “new covenant in My blood”, and the apostle Paul tells us that the blood of Jesus brings forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14, Ephesians 1:7).
Why Do Believers Partake Of The Holy Communion?
Besides being born again in Christ, a healthy body and mind are the greatest blessings anyone can have. And the Holy Communion is God’s ordained channel of healing and wholeness.
On the night that He was betrayed, Jesus ate His last supper with His disciples. And knowing what He would accomplish through His sacrifice, He instituted the Holy Communion (Luke 22:19–20, 1 Corinthians 11:24–25).
His loving instruction is that we are to remember Him as we partake of the Holy Communion. Jesus wanted us conscious of how His body was broken for our wholeness, and His blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins. And whenever we partake in this consciousness, we “proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes” (1 Corinthians 11:26).
Today, when we partake of the bread, we are declaring that Jesus’ health and divine life flows in our mortal bodies. And when we partake of the cup, we are declaring that we are forgiven and have been made righteous. Jesus’ blood gives us right standing before God, and we can go boldly into God’s presence (Hebrews 4:16). When we pray, we can be sure that God hears us!
How Do I Partake Of The Holy Communion?
Before you partake, remember that the Holy Communion is not a ritual to be observed, but a blessing to be received.
Because it is not a ritual, there is no prescribed bread or special drink required. In the Last Supper, Jesus used whatever He had at the table—bread commonly eaten at supper, and whatever they were drinking.
To partake, first, hold the bread in your hand and say:
Thank You, Father, for the gift of Your Son. By the stripes that fell on His back, my body is healed from the crown of my head to the very soles of my feet. Every cell, every organ, every function of my body is healed, restored, and renewed. In Jesus’ name, I believe and I receive. [Eat the bread.]
Next, take the cup in your hand and say:
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your precious blood. Your sin-free, disease-free, poverty-free life is in Your blood. And Your shed blood has removed every sin from my life. Through Your blood, I am forgiven of all my sins—past, present and future—and made completely righteous. Today, I celebrate and partake of the inheritance of the righteous, which is preservation, healing, wholeness and provision. Thank You Lord Jesus, for loving me. Amen.
FIVE BLESSINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST
Turning Away from something that is wrong. Changing my mind from the wrong to the right Act 3:25 — Act 3:26 And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’ When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.” It’s a blessing to be able to change your mind, turn from the wrong direction and repent Rom1:17 Luk 24:46 — Luk 24:47 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
2. REMISSION AND FORGIVENESS:
They’re both translated from the same Greek word. Remission is the complete removal of sin which the blood of Jesus gives and does by washing away man’s sins while Forgiveness is pardon. Acts13:39 Justification is necessary. Remember to read your Notes. Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. Remission of sins is only available in Jesus. No other religion provides the remission of sins but in the name of Jesus. Of all the religious leaders of the world there’s no proof that they went to heaven. Only Jesus ascended physically into heaven. He didn’t just disappear. Only one who has been there can take you there. Only Jesus promised to come back. Jesus said I am the truth and the life. 2ndly only Jesus gives remission of sins not blotting away. Acts10:43
3. ETERNAL LIFE:
Is another blessing in his name. To be born again means the very life and nature of God is imparted into your spirit. Jn 20:30 — Jn 20:31 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through (in) his name. Life that is for your spirit, your soul and body 1Jo 5:11 — 1Jo 5:13 KJV And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 1Jo 5:13 — 1Jo 5:14 NIV I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. If you’re born again you have the nature of God in your spirit.
4. HEALING AND HEALTH :
Acts3:6 Such as I have, we have the name of Jesus. Acts3:Vs16 KJV And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. Acts 3:16 NIV Acts 3:16 And his name—by faith in his name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all. Act 4:8 — Act 4:10 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. There’s something about the name of Jesus that delivers perfect health to his believers.
5. THE HOLY GHOST
5 Things that we can do through the Holy ghost 1.
I house the Holy Ghost in my body

3. We have true hope through the Holy Ghost
4. We have Control through the Holy Ghost
5. We pray through the Holy Ghost
THE HUMAN SPIRIT IS INFLUNCED BY THREE THINGS BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME
Your destiny is influenced by these three. They alter your destiny. Be careful about these things. What you will be in life depends on these.
A principle is a moral rule or belief or assumption that controls, influences, explains how something happens. Its an idea that forms the bases of anything.
Relationships have something to do with your life. It has an influence on you life, either they make you happy or sad. Your spiritual life also has impact. They affect you for Good or evil despite if you know or you don’t. Actions also have an impact on what you have done, it affects ur destiny.
There are people who choose to follow their parents consciously or subconsciously…unless you look at those three factors on your life. Changing the place where you live doesn’t change you but a change in the spirit changes you.
What changes you isn’t about saying it, but its about having the right principles to follow. The recognition and welcoming of Christ is the only way of change. Hosea 4:17… there are people you cant turn away from idols leave them alone.
Make sure your life as a christian is as the word says. Stay focused on the word. Let the word have dominion over your mind, thought and opinions. You carry a lamp with you (the word is a lamp). Don’t be after your own self. Christian life is a journey to serve God.
AN EVENING WITH THE WORD WITH PASTOR CHRIS @ LCA 16/07/2017
It’s an evening with the word. We are feasting on the word. It’s not healing service though some would be healed
I will be sharing with you a five point message.
FIVE FACTS FOR SPIRITUAL EFFECTIVENESS
Everyone in our hearts want to be effective for the Lord in our hearts.
1. Chosen: God wanted him to know that he has chosen him. Though he was speaking to Saul then but communication makes us know that it is for all of us. Do you realise God chose you. How does God choose men? We are not dealing with a specific calling here
1Peter 1:2 (NIV)
We live in time, God lives in eternity. He knows tomorrow but you can’t say “since God knows if I will be better or not” No, you are wrong
God’s plan is to unveil eternal life through preaching.
Every human being can believe. Believing is a choice!
When you are born again, you are chosen. Imagine, we are not only blameless but unblamable.
He predestined us. There are two destinies for the human being:
A. The natural destiny: this is as a result of where you are
B. Divine destiny: this has to do with God’s plan and purpose for his church as it concerns you. It begins when you are born again. There are those who are there to complete the ecosystem
2. His will: I am chosen to know his will. Don’t talk confusion as a child of God. Colossians 1:9
The word of God is more than letters. They are spirit and they are life. As you study the word, you respond to the word- you fellowship with the word.
Until you learn to fellowship the word, he will be a mystery to you. The word is God talking. It is the divine revelation of the totality of the word- the logos. It brings the rhema. This is the one you use for spiritual battles. You don’t call the saints or angels in heaven to pray for you because Jesus said you won’t need me to pray for you because the father loves you.
He means the day of salvation – the day of the church which is now.
We don’t pray through Jesus Christ but in the name of Jesus.
God cannot lie! God speaks by calling names. Solomon asked God for wisdom and understanding and he received it immediately by God’s saying he has it. So was Abraham
Everything God has said is for our benefit.
3. To see: He has sent us to make men see. Ephesians 3:8-9(amp)
This is why we shout. We know who we are.
You can’t see a professional student because studying is a means to an end.
Can you see Christ in you? Christ is in me. If you can see Christ in you, then the days of failure has ended
4. To hear: Only Saul heard what God said. Others just heard the sound. We couldn’t hear God before but thanks be to God we can hear the message of God now
When you hear the word daily, success is multiplied, favour is increased.
The word of God is medicine. It has curative power.
Jn 5:25 the dead there is the spiritually dead- those that are born again. You are chosen to hear the word of God
5. To be his witness: we are to tell the untold, reach the unreached. How can you know this and be quiet.
The gifts of miracles are signs and signs point to something. Jesus should be your passion and love. Give for the preaching of the word.

‘Rhema is God’s Word for You’ – A teaching excerpt from An Evening with the Word
“When you release Rhema, Satan bows”, Pastor Chris reveals at An Evening with the Word.
With more revelations in the enlightening teaching this evening, Pastor Chris shared on the importance of fellowshipping the word, and the personality of the Word of God – identifying Jesus as the Incarnate Word; the Word of God tabernacled in human flesh.
Pastor Chris went on to differentiate between Logos – the totality of the divine revelation of God – and Rhema, the spoken and operational word of God. He reinforced the efficacy of God’s spoken word as the sword of the Spirit for a Christian by saying, “Rhema is what you need when it comes to spiritual battles”.
