AUTHORITY TO FORGIVE SINS

August 3, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

AUTHORITY TO FORGIVE SINS,

Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained (John 20:23).

In Mark 2, the Bible tells us how a crowd gathered unto Jesus in a house, jamming the entrance that no one could get in or out. Four men, who weren’t able to get in, because of the crowd, removed a part of the roof, and lowered their friend, a paralyzed man, on a stretcher down to Jesus, expecting a healing-touch from the Master.

Jesus didn’t touch him or even say anything about the man’s sickness or his physical condition. However, He dealt with the man’s spiritual condition first, because his physical condition was created by his spiritual condition. Jesus said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” Some religious scholars present became indignant, and murmured, “Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?” (Mark 2:7). You see, they knew that Jesus had power to heal, but they didn’t know He also had power to forgive sins. So, He explained to them that He, the Son of man, had power on earth to forgive sins.

Glory to God! And you know what? He’s given us the same Authority that He had to dispense good things. He said in John 20:23, “whose soever sins you remit, they’re remitted, and whose soever sins you retain, they’re retained.” Therefore, we can pronounce healing and other blessings on, and for others, in the Name of Jesus, the same way we pronounce forgiveness. He’s sent us as bearers of His Gospel, to unveil the Father’s heart of love and compassion to the nations of the world. What a blessing!

NOT SUBJECT TO THE ELEMENTS!

August 3, 2018 by admin Leave a Comment

NOT SUBJECT TO THE ELEMENTS!

Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances (Colossians 2:20).

When you were born again, you were delivered from the power of darkness, and translated into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son (Colossians 1:13). You’re therefore no longer subject to the elements of this world. This means that you must refuse to be snowed-under by infirmities and harsh elements of this world that make life unbearable for the ordinary man.

It’s mainly the babe in Christ—the spiritually immature—that can be subject to the elements of this world. This is why you must keep growing in the Lord—unto a mature man in Christ. Then you’ll be knowledgeable enough to walk in the consciousness of your inheritance in Him. In John 8:32 the Lord Jesus said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” If you walk in ignorance of the truth of God’s Word, you’ll remain in bondage and suffer the same things that the people of the world suffer. You might even think that God is the one punishing you, but He isn’t.

Why will He punish you after He has “punished” Jesus in your place? The Bible says, “…He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities…” (Isaiah 53:5). Your punishment was already laid on Jesus. Therefore, refuse to be dominated by cancer, diabetes, heart trouble, headaches, or any other kind of infirmities. Rise up in your spirit and take the dominion. Tame the world with your faith-filled confessions.

Perhaps, as a businessperson, there’s been so much corruption or unfavourable policies that tend to militate against your success; refuse to be discouraged. No system or policies can work against you; you’re greater than them all; therefore, rise above them. Function above the system. You were dead with Christ, from the rudiments or elements of this world; refuse to be subject to them. You play by a different set of rules. Have this consciousness always.

HE TOOK THEM ALL AWAY

HE TOOK THEM ALL AWAY

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses
(Matthew 8:16-17).

In Isaiah 53, the prophet Isaiah, by revelation, foretold the sufferings of Christ, His passion on the cross, and gives us a picture of His crucifixion: “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted” (Isaiah 53:3-4). This is what Matthew quoted in our opening scripture. The Lord Jesus took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses.

The Hebrew word translated “borne” in Isaiah 53:4 is “nâsâh,” and it means, “to take or carry away,” while the word “bare” in Matthew 8:17, is translated from the Greek “bastazo,”which also means “to remove or to take away.” Both words connote taking the burden of another upon oneself, and carrying it away, which is what Jesus did with our sicknesses and diseases.

There’re those who say, “When you’re sick, Jesus comes to you and shares your sickness and pain with you.” No, He doesn’t! He took them away so you’d never have them. Why are many still sick then? It’s because they’re ignorant of what He’s done for them. He died that you might have eternal life (Greek: Zoë). This life is full of glory. It makes no difference if you feel pain or symptoms of sickness in your body; stand your ground in faith and declare, “I refuse to be sick!” Every so often, declare, “I walk in health in the Name of Jesus!”

PROPAGATE AND PROJECT HIS LOVE .

Monday, March 26th , 2018

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

The Lord Jesus came to the world with the love message; He loved us, and showed us how to love others. As a child of God, not only are you an offspring of love, because the Bible tells us that God is love (1 John 4:8), you’re also an ambassador of Christ in this world. You’re His representative, continuing His life of love in this world (2 Corinthians 5:20). It’s therefore your responsibility to propagate and project the love of God in your world.

Romans 5:5 says, “…hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” God has put His love in your heart, and He expects you to show it forth by loving the people around you. That’s the only way the world can see and appreciate the matchless beauty of His love.

Your language must build and lift. Those who hurt or destroy others with their words don’t know the love of Christ. Speak highly and lovingly of others. You may ask, “What if their character is really bad?” You’re not to judge or condemn them. Be like the Lord Jesus who said to the woman caught in the act of adultery, _*“…Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more”*_ (John 8:11).

He not only defended her before her accusers, He loved her in spite of her sins. He did the same for us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, giving us His righteousness to live for Him.

Take every opportunity of your daily encounter with people to express love to them. Be a blessing to your world. Love others selflessly and unconditionally as Christ has loved us. 1 John 3:16 says, “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”

PRAYER

Precious Father, thank you for your great mercy, your gift of righteousness and your unconditional love for me! Just like you, I’m merciful, kind, loving and gracious to others. Your love is a light that shines brightly from me to others, giving them hope, and life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:7-9* Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Romans 13:8-10 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if [there be] any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love [is] the fulfilling of the law.

BLW President Declares Prophetic Word for 2018 — ‘the Year of the Supernatural’!

2018 is our year of SUPERNATURAL by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

BLW President Declares Prophetic Word for 2018 — ‘the Year of the Supernatural’!

Pastor Chris ushers millions of global congregants into an unprecedented season of the supernatural!
The moment that millions of participants, watching via satellite and terrestrial TV stations and the Internet, had been waiting for arrived a short while ago with the BLW President, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, declaring the word of the Spirit for 2018 — ‘the Year of the Supernatural’!

The man of God, Pastor Chris, began unveiling the new year in stages of revelation, beginning at a definition of ‘blessing’, which he instructed the global audience to commit to memory; “to bless,” he said, “is to cause to prosper, to favor, to evoke successful outcomes, to infuse with divine abilities.”

The BLW President further expatiated on the heart of the Spirit for us in this glorious year, listing seven areas through which the message of the year will be witnessed: supernatural supply; supernatural strength; supernatural abilities; supernatural insight; supernatural wisdom; supernatural knowledge; and, supernatural health!

Speaking prophetically, Pastor Chris said “there’s an intervention from the Heavens; angels are ministering, and the Lord Himself is taking center stage!” “You’re going to see the unexpected. You’re about to see the unimaginable,” he continued to declare in the Spirit.

The year means nothing without the word of God.
God’s word is your direction.
God’s word is your instruction.
This year is a very special year.
2018 is very important. because God is giving an instruction and direction to guide us in the way to go.
Many times when we say I am blessed or God bless you. What does it mean.
It’s simple but don’t forget it
Blessings means to ?????
It means to cause to prosper
To favour
To evoke successful outcomes
It also means to infuse with abilities.
So when we say God has blessed me or I am blessed, this is what it means, or I will bless you, it means to infuse you with new abilities.
No wonder Abraham was successful every where he went.
He was different from others because God blessed him.
What alot of people need today is to be blessed.divine blessings. When you are blessed, you go beyond your abilities, no one can go through that place but when it’s you, you can go.
Many struggle and try hard for a very long time because they don’t know. God never wants you to come to the position that you will suddenly breakdown.

*Leviticus 25:22*
21then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
22And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.

*Daniel 1:1*
Every time the king asked them about something important, they showed much wisdom and understanding. They were ten times better than all the fortune-tellers and magicians in his kingdom!

*Isamuel 18:6-7*
After David had killed the Philistine, he and the men returned home. Women came out from all the towns of Israel to meet King Saul. They sang songs of joy, danced, and played tambourines and stringed instruments.
7 As they played, they sang,
“Saul has killed thousands of his enemies,
but David has killed tens of thousands.”

*Haggai 2:110*
1 On the twenty-first day of the seventh month, the Lord spoke his word through Haggai the prophet, saying,
2 “Speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the rest of the people who are left alive. Say,
3 ‘Do any of you remember how great the Temple was before it was destroyed? What does it look like now? Doesn’t it seem like nothing to you?’
4 But the Lord says, ‘Zerubbabel, be brave. Also, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, be brave. And all you people who live in the land, be brave,’ says the Lord. ‘Work, because I am with you,’ says the Lord All-Powerful.
5 ‘I made a promise to you when you came out of Egypt, and my Spirit is still with you. So don’t be afraid.’

6 “This is what the Lord All-Powerful says: ‘In a short time I will once again shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
7 I will shake all the nations, and they will bring their wealth. Then I will fill this Temple with glory,’ says the Lord All-Powerful.
8 ‘The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,’ says the Lord All-Powerful.
9 ‘The new Temple will be greater than the one before,’ says the Lord All-Powerful. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord All-Powerful.”

*Zachariah 4:6-7*
6Then he said, “This is God’s message to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty—you will succeed because of my Spirit, though you are few and weak.
7.Therefore no mountain, however high, can stand before Zerubbabel! For it will flatten out before him! And Zerubbabel will finish building this Temple with mighty shouts of thanksgiving for God’s mercy, declaring that all was done by grace alone.
8Another message that I received from the Lord said:
9 “Zerubbabel laid the foundation of this Temple, and he will complete it. (Then you will know these messages are from God, the Lord Almighty.)

*Ezekiel 47:12*
12 Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river.Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.”
The Boundaries of the Land

*John 7:37-39*
37 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”
39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.
The day you received from the Holy Ghost, you drunk of his living water.
And how do you pour out that living water??? Through words.
You speak words of life
Waters issued from the sanctuary.
God has determined something for us in 2018. .
This is the Set time for God to bring to pass what He has planned for your life.

2018 is our year of SUPERNATURAL.
Indeed 2018 is 10years in One

God bless you.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

RECEIVE FORGIVENESS .

Monday, October 30th , 2017

Pastor Chris

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

Sometimes, in leading sinners to Christ, some people erroneously tell them to confess all their sins. When the sinner begins to confess his sins, God can’t see them, because He has no records of the sinner’s sins. What He’s interested in is the remission—the removal or blotting away of sin from the sinner’s spirit. Once sin is out of his spirit, he’s qualified to be recreated.

As a Christian, you’re a new creation, born without a past. Your life started when you were born again (2 Corinthians 5:17). If, however, at any point in your walk of faith, you make a mistake or do something wrong, the Bible says you have forgiveness in Christ: “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world” (1 John 2:1-2).

That’s why our opening verse tells us to obtain mercy or forgiveness. Notice it doesn’t say, “Ask for forgiveness.” Think about it: If, as a Christian, you’re asking God for forgiveness, at what point will He tell you, “It’s okay; I’ve forgiven you”? You’ll probably keep asking for forgiveness, and you’ll never know whether you’ve been forgiven or not.
But the Bible says, “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:24).

To be justified means to be declared not guilty. We’ve been justified according to the Scriptures; meaning God has declared us not guilty of our sins; He paid the full penalty for our sins through Jesus Christ.

The Power Of Your Mind

Therefore, refuse to be “sin-conscious”; rather, have “righteousness consciousness.” If you’ve done something wrong, be bold to receive forgiveness. Say, “Father, I receive forgiveness for that which I’ve done wrong, in the Name of Jesus,” and walk guilt-free. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the full package of salvation I’ve received in Christ. I walk in boldness, knowing that I’m justified, unblameable and irreproachable in your sight. I’m conscious of my nature of righteousness, and I walk in the light of it, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: Acts 26:16-18 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17 Delivering thee from the people, and [from] the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18 To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Ephesians 1:7-8 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Colossians 1:13-14 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins:

HE BRINGS YOU OUT OF TROUBLE

September 6, 2017 by admin 6 Comments

THE 5 SOLID FACTS OF THE GOSPEL BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME & PASTOR BENNY HINN

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

HE BRINGS YOU OUT OF TROUBLE .

Wednesday, September 6th ,2017

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace (Ephesians 1:7).

Just as in Colossians 1:14, the word “redemption” above is used as a synonym to the word “riddance.” It’s translated from the Greek word “Apolutrosis,” which means “to be brought out of trouble.” So, when you say, “Christ is my redemption,” it means He’s your deliverance and your deliverer; your rescuer; the One who plucks you out of trouble.

It parallels what the Psalmist said in Psalm 50:15: _*“…call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.”*_ It doesn’t matter what trouble you get into, Christ is your riddance; He’ll get you out of that trouble. It makes no difference if the trouble was self-inflicted; He’ll get you out. It’s part of the result of His vicarious death, ridding you of or out of trouble.

The Bible says the righteous shall come out of trouble (Proverbs 12:13); that means the righteous may get into trouble, but one thing is certain: he’s coming out of it. It doesn’t matter the proclamation that got you into the trouble; Christ is your riddance. He rids you of trouble, and rids you of anything that’s inconsistent with the provisions of the Gospel. He’s obligated to rescuing you and helping you out of any quagmire.

No wonder the psalmist testified, _*“He drew me up out of a horrible pit [a pit of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings. And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God…”*_ (Psalm 40:2-3 AMPC). Hallelujah!
Besides the joy and comfort that this brings, it should give you a certain kind of consciousness and confidence to face life every day and win.

PRAYER

*I thank you gracious heavenly Father for the excellent life that I have in Christ! I’m planted on the rock that’s higher than I am, Christ Jesus! Therefore, I’m not moved by circumstances. I’m a victor forever, because Christ is my riddance. He rids me of any trouble and leads me triumphantly from glory to glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Psalm 27:1-2 & 5* The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked, [even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. *||*
*||* *Proverbs 12:13* The wicked is snared by the transgression of [his] lips: but the just shall come out of trouble. *||
*|| 1 Corinthians 1:30* But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: *||*

DON’T JUDGE PEOPLE HARSHLY OR BE QUICK TO FIND FAULTS

August 6, 2017 by admin Leave a Comment

TO THE BIBLE: Luke 6:37 MSG

“Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults–unless, of course, you want the same treatment. Don’t condemn those who are down; that hardness can boomerang. Be easy on people; you’ll find life a lot easier.”

LET’S TALK

In Genesis 18, the Lord told Abraham he was going to have a son by his wife Sarah. Sarah was eavesdropping on the conversation, and when she heard what the Lord said to her husband, she laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?” (Genesis 18:12). Responding to her unbelief, God asked Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh?” (Genesis 18:13). The Bible says, “…Sarah denied it, saying, “I did not laugh,” for she was afraid. And He said, “No, but you did laugh!””  (Genesis 18:15). God could have scolded her thus: “You mean in my presence, you dare tell a lie?!” But no, He wasn’t mad at her. Instead, He said to her lovingly, “No, but you did laugh” (Genesis 18:15), and left it at that.

The Lord didn’t attack Sarah’s person or make her feel less than herself. He was easy on her, because He knew the reason she lied was because she was afraid, and the solution for fear is faith which works by love. He expects you to be the same way with people. When they come around you, they should leave you confident, inspired, courageous, and enthusiastic to face life and win, rather than feel dejected and doubtful of themselves. Let people be confident and free to be themselves around you; they shouldn’t be afraid to “fail” or make mistakes around you.

Every human person is bought with and washed by the blood of Jesus Christ; we’re sanctified by God, and are therefore valuable to Him. When you see, relate with, and talk to people with this understanding, they’ll be confident in themselves and know that’s how God sees them too. Thus, instead of running away from God if they do something wrong, they’ll run to Him and accept His love and forgiveness.

Merciful Father, I thank you for loving and accepting me, and teaching me to shower others with the same kindness, and cover them always with your love. I’m confident in your love always, and sufficient in your sufficiency, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

IT’S A MESSAGE OF RECONCILIATION, NOT CONDEMNATION

July 8, 2017 by admin Leave a Comment

TO  THE  BIBLE    2 Corinthians 5:18-19

“Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.”

LET’S  TALK

The Lord Jesus told us to preach the Gospel, which is the good news of what His death, burial and resurrection accomplished for mankind. It’s the Word of reconciliation, and not condemnation. It’s not enough that you’re preaching a message about Jesus Christ; it’s got to be “Good News”; otherwise, it’s not the Gospel. The Gospel to the sinner is that eternal life from God is available to him now, and that he doesn’t have to continue in sin, guilt, and condemnation anymore. This means your Gospel message should excite the heart of the sinner, and show him that God loves him in spite of the wrong things he’s done, and that Jesus already bore the penalty for his sins.

Remember John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (NIV). God has ordered, instructed, declared, and enacted a law that anyone who believes in Jesus should not perish, but have everlasting life; it’s a sovereign declaration of Almighty God. Therefore, your message to the people of the world should be, “Hey, if you’d believe in Jesus Christ, you’d receive eternal life, and at once, you’d be separated from perishing! The darkness would be gone, and you would become a new creation—the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!”

You must personally acknowledge that the Gospel has been committed to your trust. You’re the one running with the message of Christ’s salvation, so fulfil your ministry (1 Timothy 1:11).

Go Deeper

1 Corinthians 4:1; Ephesians 3:8-9

Pray

Dear Father, I thank you for the message of reconciliation that has been committed to my trust. Through me, many in my world and in the regions beyond are coming to the knowledge of God and are delivered from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of your dear Son, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Don’t criticize, and then you won’t be criticized. For others will treat you as you treat them.

TO THE BIBLE: Matthew 7:1-2 TLB

“Don’t criticize, and then you won’t be criticized. For others will treat you as you treat them.”

LET’S TALK

Some people believe they know what’s in everyone’s heart and so have a judgmental attitude towards others. They judge everyone with one standard and judge themselves with another. This is a very wrong attitude to life, and God isn’t pleased with it.

When you see a friend or classmate doing something you don’t quite understand, before saying or doing anything to judge or condemn, first find out more information. Don’t be one of those who judge others based on hearsay or their attitudes. Don’t give in to the urge to condemn. Nobody finds negative criticism or judgmental comments pleasant, so don’t be too quick to find fault with others.

The Bible says, the Lord Jesus has been “…ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead” (Acts 10:42). He alone is the true Judge, and He’s rich in mercy. If you’re merciful to others, God will show mercy to you. But if you aren’t, God will deal with you by the same standard you deal with others (Matthew 23:13-16). Be like Jesus; He never judges or condemns you. This is the path to true joy and happiness, the path totally void of bitterness.

Pray

Dear Father, I pray your Spirit, through your Word, would take over my thoughts and the way I perceive people around me. Your Spirit breathes upon me, and I walk in the way of Christ and live in the path of righteousness and peace with God and with those around me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
