(The Lord Is Your Portion And Inheritance)

Numbers 18:20 AMP C And the Lord said to Aaron, You shall have no inheritance in the land [of the Israelites], neither shall you have any part among them. I am your portion and your inheritance among the Israelites.”
◀️ LET’S TALK
We understand from the Word that God apportioned inheritance to the different tribes of Israel except the Levites, to whom He said, “I’m your portion and your inheritance.” In other words, “I’m everything you need!” How rich can you get when the Lord is your portion? Psalm 24:1 AMPC says, “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it, the world and they who dwell in it.” If this is true, and it is, then it follows that the earth and everything in it belongs to you because the Lord is your portion.
No wonder, the Bible says all things are yours! Now, you can understand when I say I don’t ask God for anything; all my prayers are for other people. I have nothing to ask God for, because I have Christ, and Christ is everything. When this truth dawns on you, it’ll change your mentality and your testimonies would be different. The Psalmist knew the Lord to be his portion and so declared, “You, LORD, are all I have, and you give me all I need…” (Psalm 16:5 GNB). Then in Psalm 27:1, the Psalmist testified, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; I will fear no one. The LORD protects me from all danger; I will never be afraid” (Psalm 27:1). He didn’t say, “Protect me, oh Lord”; rather, he declared, “The LORD protects me from all danger!”
Being born again, you’ve been made a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:12). You’ve been brought into a large place (Psalm 18:19); a place of wealth, health and prosperity. Get to know and enjoy all that belongs to you in Christ by studying and meditating on the Word. Walking in the light of this and other truths in the Word will launch you into a life of endless possibilities, glory, excellence and superabundance.

Thank you Father for being the portion of my inheritance; I boldly declare that the lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places and I have a goodly heritage. I live and walk in wealth, health and prosperity even as goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
