Ephesians 2:4-6 NIV “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
When you read Ephesians 1:21, it tells you where the Lord Jesus Christ is seated today—in the place of authority in the heavenly realms, not just above or near above, but “far” above all principality and power, every rulership or government, and the authority by which they govern.
The Message Translation says this about the Lord, “…God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven, in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything…” (Ephesians 1:20-22). Glory! There’s none like Jesus! He’s got the supremacy and dominion over all things.
However, the most beautiful and inspiring part of it all is our connection to Him in His victory, glory, and authority. Remember that we’re members of His body; we’re connected to Him. Reread our opening scripture and see the connection; it reveals your current location, your place of glory and victory in Him. You’ve been raised up together and made to sit together in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus.
This, therefore, means you’re over and above all principality and power, every rulership or government, and the authority by which they govern. You have the supremacy and dominion over all things. It doesn’t matter where you go in this world, be in charge and in control. You’re not an ordinary person. You’re superior to Satan, demons and all their influences. You’re a victor in Christ Jesus, born to reign and rule over circumstances. Always acknowledge and affirm who you are, what you have, your connection with the Lord Jesus Christ, and your place of glory and victory in Him.
