YOU’RE A CHILD OF
(Jesus Made You A Light In The World);
TO THE BIBLE Ephesians 5:8-9 AMPC;
“For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [lead the lives of those native-born to the Light]. For the fruit (the effect, the product) of the Light or the Spirit [consists] in every form of kindly goodness, uprightness of heart, and trueness of life.”
LET’S TALK➡
God doesn’t mince words at all in describing you. He says you’re light! Why? Because you’re born of Him. You’re a new-creation, not identified by your biological genes, but according to your recreated human spirit. Those who haven’t yet known and accepted the Lordship of Jesus are not only in the dark; they’re darkness. But you’re a child of light, because God, who’s your Father, is Light.
In John 8:12, Jesus declared Himself as the light of the world, but He didn’t stop there. He also pronounced His followers as lights. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:14). You see, you’re a light in your world today just as Jesus was the light when He walked the face of the earth.
You must be bold to make this declaration anywhere you are. Sure enough, some folks around you would scoff or even get angry when you declare that you’re a light. But does it matter! You needn’t pay such people any attention. Just call yourself what the Word calls you. And don’t stop saying it. You’re a child of light; talk and walk as one.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Colossians 1:12
giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
PRAY?
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for making me a light in this world. I walk daily with this divine consciousness, leading those in my locale to Christ, and shedding the light of God’s knowledge and wisdom on them, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
