◀ LET’S TALK
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only saving power for the world, and you’re its custodian. It’s the message by which God saves, heals, protects, delivers, preserves, and prospers. The Apostle Paul said: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…” (Romans 1:16). The Gospel isn’t one of the requirements for salvation; it’s God’s ONLY saving power. The Holy Spirit was definite and absolute when He conveyed this truth through Apostle Paul.
But how passionate are you about this Gospel? Passion is like fire, and it must be fuelled; otherwise, it will die. You fuel the fire of your passion for the Gospel by sharing it continually with those who haven’t yet received Jesus, and also by fellowshipping with folks of like passion, who are equally fired up in their spirits for the Gospel and can “provoke you unto good works” (Hebrews 10:24 KJV).
Don’t spend time on the wrong stuff or with those who have no passion for the Lord, as this will dissipate your zeal. Keep sharing the Word and expressing your love for Christ and His Kingdom. The more you talk about His kindness, goodness, love, and message of salvation, the more the fire of His love will burn in the quarters of your heart!
