TO THE BIBLE: Matthew 17:20
“So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.””
LET’S TALK
As a Christian, it’s important that you understand you’ve been called to a life of unending success, triumph and prosperity. You’ve got supernatural ability to do great exploits, because you’re filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). Failure, defeat, and the down-life shouldn’t be part of your life.
In Matthew 17:20, Jesus told His disciples nothing would be impossible to them if they had faith. It’s very interesting to note that these people weren’t Christians at the time, for it wasn’t possible for anyone to be born again until Jesus died and resurrected. Now if they, who didn’t have eternal life then, could use their faith for anything, what about you? There should be no limit to what you can achieve!
Notice Jesus didn’t say, “And nothing will be impossible for God”; rather, He said, “Nothing will be impossible for you.” Think about it: since nothing is impossible for you, it means you can do and be everything God has planned for you. So when situations challenge your faith, instead of getting discouraged and unhappy, get excited, because you can change that situation. Nothing is impossible for you!
