CLING TO WISDOM
(Wisdom Gives Insight, Foresight And Understanding)
📖TO THE BIBLE Proverbs 4:5-6 TLB
“Learn to be wise,” he said, “and develop good judgment and common sense! I cannot overemphasize this point.” Cling to wisdom-she will protect you. Love her-she will guard you.”
True wisdom is of the Spirit; it comes from the Lord. Until divine wisdom is given, man walks in darkness. Wisdom gives insight and foresight. It gives understanding. Wisdom guides you to function in greater wisdom. The wisdom of God gives you extraordinary amplitude of comprehension. It opens the world to you, and you’re amazed at what you see. When the Lord opens your mind, your spirit will have such cogitations beyond this earthly realm.
Visions are things God entrusts to us. They’re investments of the Holy Spirit in our spirits. Sometimes, people mismanage visions and find themselves in the wrong path. But the beautiful thing is, God gives you wisdom to manage that which He shows you, and helps you fulfil His purpose for your life. Man’s wisdom can’t help you fulfil God’s vision; only divine wisdom can.
Sometimes, you might listen to an older person talk about certain things, and you’re enthralled, thinking he’s got wisdom. But he may merely be talking from experience. That’s neither insight nor foresight; it’s hindsight. He’s looking back, and telling you things based on his experiences and reflections of the past.
That’s not the wisdom you need to fulfil God’s dream for you. Real wisdom is from God; it doesn’t come from man. This wisdom is a force; a propelling power that always locates you in God’s perfect will. So, for that vision that God has put in your heart, His wisdom is available to you in His Word, and through the Holy Spirit. Take advantage of His wisdom and you’ll have results.
1 Corinthians 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
6Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
7Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Dear Lord, your wisdom is available to guide and lead me in the right paths to fulfil the dream and visions that you’ve given me. I have wisdom for ministry, for academics, finances, and my health. I function in divine wisdom, manifesting the glory and virtues of divinity in my spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
