WHO’S TALKING?

SUNDAY 25

Then the Lord called yet again, “Samuel!” So Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, “Here I am, for you called me.” He answered, “I did not call, my son; lie down again.” (Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, nor was the word of the Lord yet revealed to him.) 1 Samuel 3:6-7

Samuel was a child when God first called him. He kept thinking it was Eli who called him. Eli realized it was God calling Samuel so, he told him what to do when next he hears the voice. Sure enough Samuel heard the voice again and God spoke to him (1 Samuel 3:10).

God speaks to us all the time, and you can know His voice through the Word. The more you study and meditate upon the Word, your spirit will become more sensitive to His voice, and you’ll be able to tell when He’s talking to you.
