TO THE BIBLE: Colossians 2:3
“…Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”
LET’S TALK
“I love physics,” said Anthony during a group discussion. “I’d like to be a physicist in the future. But I honestly don’t know how to pull it off. Physics seems like a very controversial field. Some aspects of it actually contradict the Word of God.”
Perhaps you’re in a similar dilemma as Anthony. You want to get into a field where there are certain popular theories, facts, norms and paradigms established by renowned scholars which contradict the reality of God’s Word that you know. And so you’re not sure if you’re ever going to be successful in that field.
You needn’t be afraid of becoming an underdog. Today’s theme scripture says that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ. This means Jesus isn’t a novice in any field. He knows everything. All wisdom and knowledge reside in Him; therefore He can give you all the knowledge you require, no matter your field. He’ll fill you with so much insight that the prominent scholars in the same field won’t be able to refute. All you need do is take advantage of the Word of God. Study it and let it permeate your spirit. The more you meditate on the Word, the more the Holy Spirit imparts your understanding with wisdom. So, no matter the field you choose, you become a master of the game, because the Holy Spirit gives you the advantage.
