MANAGE YOUR MIND
(The Renewing Of Your Mind)
TO THE BIBLE
Romans 12:2
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
LET’S TALK
If you desire a change in any area, maybe in your studies or relationships with other people, you must begin by addressing your mind. Don’t sit back and muse, “I’ve tried everything I know. I’ve prayed and fasted about this problem; still, I’ve not succeeded.” You may have tried all that you know and failed. Now try managing your mind using the Word of God. The Bible says as a man thinks, so is he (Proverbs 23:7).
To renew your mind means you manage it effectively so it can produce the best results for you always. You can get into your mind and decipher which files need to be deleted, and which ones need to be downloaded and installed. You can determine what adjustments you need to make in the structure of your thinking. That’s mind management. It’s the primary principle for increasing your value, multiplying your success and upgrading your life generally.
You see, where you are today is a function of your mind. Now that you’re young especially, it’s so important that you begin to manage your mind rightly, because the kind of future you’ll have will be a direct result of how your mind functions. If you don’t manage your mind properly, it won’t produce any good for you. How you live, what you do, the character of your words, and the totality of your personality are all the expression of your mind.
GO DEEPER
Proverbs 4:23
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
PRAY
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the ability you’ve given to me to manage my mind effectively. I’m taking advantage of your Word every day. As I meditate on it and speak it forth, my mind is conditioned for extraordinary success, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
