(Don’t Talk ABOUT The Mountain; Tell It To Move!)
TO THE BIBLE: Mark 11:22-23
“…Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be removed and be cast into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.””
LET’S TALK
Many Christians discuss their challenges rather than talk to them. And that’s not going to change things! In Mark 11:22-23, Jesus gave us the recipe for effecting a change in any situation. He said “…Whoever says to this mountain, “Be removed and be cast into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says” (Mark 11:23). In other words, to change any seemingly hopeless situation, what you need do is talk to it!
As long as you discuss your challenges instead of commanding a change, you’re not going to get the results the Lord Jesus spoke of—the mountain won’t move. Maybe it’s a growth in your body, and you’ve been complaining about it and receiving sympathy from everyone. It’s time to stop talking about it and talk to it! God gave you a mouth, not just for eating, but so you can speak and effect the changes you desire.
Quit telling others about what you’re going through; stop complaining to God about your predicament; command a change in the Name of Jesus!

Speak
The power to change any situation is in my mouth. Therefore, as I speak faith-filled words, mountains move, valleys are filled, and every crooked path is made straight, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
