Psalm 50:1-2
The mighty God, even the Lord , hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
Psalm 48:1-3
Great is the Lord , and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. God is known in her palaces for a refuge.
Psalm 90:10-17
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath. So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Return, O Lord , how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants. O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil. Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Teach us to number, schedule our days. God had plans for special days. He’s talking about that divine Aura about your life; the glory and beauty of God goes with you and is upon your life. This beauty and glory brings pleasantness, favour and grace. You become the living Bible when you meditate on the Word, absorb it. Be loaded with the Word and you’ll find the glory of God upon your life. As you pray in the Spirit you’ll be drenched in the glory of the Spirit.
Isaiah 9:
The exercise of the Dominion of Christ has been given to the Church. Act and speak like one with Dominion.
Wonder – extraordinary
Counsellor – isn’t one who is giving you advise. He is talking about the One who gives you counsel for strategy; the Extraordinary Strategist. Consult Him when you want to get something done.
Almighty God – El- Gibor. Talking about His greatness, surpassing mightiness. This is the One that was born to us a Child and given to us a Son. This is supposed to be Jesus.
Everlasting Father – He is your Everlasting Father that doesn’t and never dies. Jesus says I will not leave you Orphanus, Fatherless; I will come to you. I’ll pray the Father that He would give you another Comforter….He dwelleth in you and shall be with you.
The Prince of Peace – The Champion of Peace. When He brings you Peace it cannot be taken away. It’s not like the peace the world gives. No matter what happens we are unperturbed and unmoved because the Prince of Peace had come.
He gives you Beauty for ashes – Ornaments of beauty, ornaments of Grace. Thank God for my Beautiful Life! I have a Beautiful Life!
