The faith that produces results is that which acts on what God says.
To the Bible James 2:17 AMP
“So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead).”
LET’S TALK
As Pastor Chris teaches, faith doesn’t ask “how?” “How am I going to get the money?” “How can I say I’m healed when I’m still in pain?” These are questions from an unbelieving heart. Faith responds only to the Word of God! Faith means doing what God tells you to do without asking Him how. If you were feeling a pain in your body, and you saw the scripture which says you were already healed by the stripes of Jesus (1 Peter 2:24), you ought to respond to that Word by declaring it and doing what you couldn’t do before. That’s faith!
Remember the woman who came pleading with Jesus to heal her demon-possessed daughter (Mark 7:25)? The Master only said to her, “…go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.” That was all she needed to hear, and she was convinced that her daughter had been healed. She simply acted on the Master’s Word and got her miracle.
If you desire a miracle today, this is what you must do. Don’t ask how it would happen; He certainly can handle that. You only need to respond to Him on the basis of His Word, knowing that He’s able to do exceeding abundantly above what your mind can fathom. Understand that faith isn’t passive; it’s active, and it depends solely on the Word as its guarantee for results.
