TO THE BIBLE: Romans 12:3 RSV
“For by the grace given to me I bid every one among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith which God has assigned him.”
LET’S TALK
Faith is the lifestyle of the believer. Hebrews 11:6 says it’s impossible to please God without it. From Romans 12:3, it’s clear that God gave everyone in the body of Christ the measure of faith. Notice the definite article “the.” When you were born again, you received the same amount of faith as every other believer when they received Christ, and that measure of faith you received is a seed you’ve got to grow.
Now let me show you a few steps to growing your faith:
(1) First, consistently study the Word, giving it your full attention. The more you hear it, the more your faith grows (Romans 10:17).
(2) Secondly, fellowship regularly with other believers. Hebrews 10:25 instructs us to not neglect the Assembly of God’s people. So, attending church services should be top priority for you.
(3) Thirdly, make prayer a daily practice; learn to speak in tongues often (Jude 1:20). When you do this, you build up yourself on the high level of faith that you’ve attained so you can always maintain a high level of faith!
(4) Finally, get and use good Christian materials (2 Timothy 2:15). I’m talking about Bibles, books, devotionals, teachings, music, etc. that’ll edify your spirit and strengthen your faith.
When you follow these four steps, you’d not only give your faith the chance to grow, you would have grown your faith big and strong—the kind that prevails in all circumstances!

Pray
Dear Father, I commit my life to your Word. It’s got the ability to build my faith and give me all the inheritance you’ve set apart for me. I declare that as I take the steps mentioned above, my faith is strengthened and becomes effective, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
