Galatians 3:26-29 TLB “For now we are all children of God through faith in Jesus Christ… We are no longer Jews or Greeks or slaves or free men or even merely men or women, but we are all the same—we are Christians; we are one in Christ Jesus. And now that we are Christ’s we are the true descendants of Abraham, and all of God’s promises to him belong to us.”
◀️ LET’S TALK
A certain woman had been bent double for eighteen years. One day, she came into the synagogue and Jesus saw her. He called her to Himself and said “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity” (Luke 13:12). He tapped her on the back and she got healed immediately. The ruler of the synagogue got angry because Jesus healed her on the Sabbath day, but Jesus answered him saying, “So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?” (Luke 13:16). That showed that she wasn’t supposed to be bound by sickness because she was Abraham’s seed!
When you were born again, you became the seed of Abraham, and therefore an heir of the Abrahamic blessings. You’re the real descendant of Abraham and the possessor of the blessings God conferred on him.
As the seed of Abraham, nothing is too good for you. You’re blessed beyond measure. You belong to Christ; you shouldn’t be bound by any form of sickness or disease. Failure, sickness, disease, lack and death aren’t consistent with your life anymore. It’s impossible for you to fail in life or be poor, because as Abraham’s seed, the works of your hands are blessed. You’re ordained to succeed; fruitfulness and productivity have become your birthright. Therefore, refuse to let any negative thing lord it over you, and enjoy your inheritance as the seed of Abraham.
