To The Bible: 2 Timothy 3:16-17 TLB
“The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right. It is God’s way of making us well prepared at every point, fully equipped to do good to everyone.”
LET’S TALK
The Bible is God’s special gift to us; it’s God’s mirror that shows us who we really are. So if there’s anything you’ve got to have, it’s a copy of the Holy Bible! Not only should you own a Bible, you must study it regularly and meditate on the Word of God contained therein. I’m always so grateful to the Lord for giving us His Word in the Bible. What a treasure; what a special gift from God to us!
Many have questioned the veracity and authenticity of this all-important book through the years. If only they knew how powerful the Bible is and how it has helped to mould individuals and even nations, they would have a re-think The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It’s the only book in the world that has borne the words of Jesus through the ages. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away” (Matthew 24:35). So you can expect God’s Word as contained in the Bible to remain relevant today, tomorrow, and forever.
Paul, in his letter to Timothy, said, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable …” (2 Timothy 3:16). The Bible is God-inspired and it yields advantageous results in the lives of those who use it. The countless testimonies, through the ages, from people who lived by God’s Word contained in the Bible attest to this truth. You too can have miracles wrought in your life as study your Bible, meditate on and put God’s Word that you learn to work. It’s a wonderful treasure!

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for giving us your Word in the written pages of the Bible. I am so grateful, for this wonderful treasure. As I study and meditate on it whole-heartedly today, I’m blessed by your living Word, and my profiting is evident for all to see in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
