THE ANSWER ISN’T FAR AWAY

1 Corinthians 14:2 AMP C “For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].”
◀️ LET’S TALK
Sometimes, people experience certain things in their lives that they shouldn’t and are entirely at a loss for answers. For example, you find that some young Christians seem to be experiencing certain kinds of depression that don’t seem to go away. They have prayed about it, rebuked it, and even rebuked the devil, but to no avail. Now, they wonder what the problem could be. It’s time they looked to their spirits for the answer.
As God’s children, we’re never in the dark about anything. You can know anything if you’d do what the Scripture says. Spend time to speak in tongues, and you’d receive answers from your spirit—your inner man. Before long, the mystery about that situation will come to your understanding. Jesus said, “…I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life” (John 8:12 AMPC). You’re not supposed to walk in darkness about anything, including your family, relationships, grades, finances, health, future career and ministry.
The light of God is in your spirit. The Bible says, “The human spirit is the lamp of the LORD that sheds light on one’s inmost being” (Proverbs 20:27 NIV). If you have concerns about your health or about anything, speak in tongues. Don’t just run to the doctors or places you think you might find help.
Consult with the Holy Spirit first; you’ll be amazed how quickly His light and wisdom will well up within you, showing you precisely what to do. He’s in you to help you understand certain things about yourself and about life. He’ll show you the future and guide you to take specific steps in line with His plans for your life. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, thank you for the guidance of your Spirit. As I speak in tongues, the eyes of my understanding are flooded with light. I don’t walk in darkness, for I have the light of life in my spirit. With every challenge I face, your light and wisdom well up within me, showing me precisely what to do, how to do them and when to do them, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
