TALKING CHRISTIANS WIN ;
(Don’t Be Quiet: Put God’s Word In Your Mouth)
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome;
? TO THE BIBLE
Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
◀️ LET’S TALK
Joshua 1:8 unambiguously gives us God’s recipe for success: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth…,” that’s another way of saying: “Be a Word-talking Christian. Let the Word be in your mouth!” He’s saying to you, keep talking the Word; keep it in your mouth day and night—keep declaring what God has said concerning you.
Even the very word “meditate” as rendered above is from the Hebrew word “hagah,” which connotes muttering and shouting! This perhaps explains the reason some people have it rough and tough in life; the Word of God is not in their mouths—they aren’t talking the Word! Only “Word-talking” Christians win in life.
The Bible says, “So the word of the Lord was growing mightily and prevailing” (Acts 19:20 NASB). God’s Word has prevailing power. As you speak the Word, there’s a transforming power that is released such that every negative or contrary situation is turned around for your good. Make it a habit to declare God’s Word all the time. Everyday, tell yourself, “I have the life of God in me! I walk in divine health and prosperity! The Lord is my shepherd, therefore it’s impossible for me to lack! Success is mine! My life is for the glory of God.” Talking consistently in this manner will cause the Word of God to grow and prevail in your life, thereby producing what it talks about.
So I urge you to be a “Word-talking Christian.” Let the Word of God dwell in you richly. When God’s Word is richly stored up in your heart, you’ll necessarily speak it forth, “…For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34). Keep talking the Word. That’s an infallible success recipe!

? Pray
God’s Word is in my heart and in my mouth always. I’m a Word-talking Christian, and my faith confessions are creating realities in my life. I make my way prosperous and consistently experience good success as I meditate on the Word and speak it forth with boldness. I walk in divine health, absolute prosperity, total victory and extraordinary grace; I’m the blessed of the Lord.
