TO THE BIBLE: Mark 16:17 KJV
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues”
LET’S TALK
Whenever you see or hear of the cruel acts perpetrated by men, understand that they’re orchestrated by demonic forces. Take, for example, the genocides we’ve witnessed in the recent past in some parts of Europe, Africa and the Middle East. I recall watching a documentary where some victims narrated their ordeal. The perpetrators, some of whom were teenage-soldiers conscripted to wreak the havoc, had no restraint. They acted ruthlessly, showing no mercy.
As Christians, however, we have authority in the Name of Jesus over the evil forces that devise such wickedness and lure men into evil, and we must continually exercise that authority. In Matthew 5:14, Jesus said, “You are the light of the world….” The dark places of the earth may have been filled with habitations of cruelty, but you can do something about it. So don’t be quiet. You’re God’s light in your world.
Even if you’re not physically resident in a turbulent region, from where you are you can effect changes in such places through authoritative prayers in the Name of Jesus. You have the power to frustrate the evil one and insist that the peace of God govern the nations and rule in men’s hearts.

Speak
I come against the vices of Satan to cause chaos around the world. I speak peace, and declare that the ministry of the Gospel goes on unhindered in all nations, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray today for those in war-torn regions, especially children who have been displaced: that they find comfort and peace in the Lord, and that through the intervention of the Spirit and the activities
of angels, they may be guided to receive salvation.
