TO THE BIBLE: Proverbs 15:4 AMP

LET’S TALK
I love to remind God’s children that we live in two worlds; we live in the spiritual and the physical realms, at the same time. It’s very important that you understand that in the realm of the spirit, you’re not allowed to have confusing or contrary words. When you speak, your words go into the realm of the spirit and function for or against you. When you have unsteady words, your life will be out of order. This is why you have to maintain firm and fixed confessions of God’s Word, in spite of contrary situations.
For you to have a stable, enjoyable life, you must focus on God’s Word, allowing it to influence your thinking and speech. You must maintain the right confessions all the time, even in the midst of contrary situations. This is why Hebrews 6:12 says you should be, “…like those who believe and are patient, and so receive what God has promised” (GNB). Abraham is such a good example for you to emulate because he didn’t stagger at God’s Word: He was “…fully persuaded that, what he (God) had promised, he was able also to perform” (Romans 4:21). He didn’t say one thing today and the contrary tomorrow. He believed God’s Word and spoke the same.
This is the same attitude God expects you to have. Don’t let anything in life control you! Rather, control everything by maintaining fixed and firm confessions of God’s Word.

I refuse to be unsteady with my words. My words are fixed and firm. I keep my life in check with my tongue by speaking God’s Word consistently, in spite of opposing situations.
