TALK SPIRITUAL TRUTHS (Speak The Word Only And Always)
? Pastor Chris Oyakhilome;
? TO THE BIBLE
1 Corinthians 3:1 NIV “Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
“Lazarus has fallen asleep. I’m going to wake him up” Jesus said to His disciples, two days after Martha, Lazarus’ sister visited.
“Master, if he’s gone to sleep, he’ll get a good rest and wake up feeling fine,” his disciples replied, thinking He was talking about taking a nap.
“Then Jesus became explicit: “Lazarus died. And I am glad for your sakes that I wasn’t there. You’re about to be given new grounds for believing. Now let’s go to him” (read John 11:11-14 MSG). Jesus was trying to communicate spiritual truth to His disciples here, but their minds were not yet trained to comprehend such truth, and so Jesus had to plainly tell them, “Lazarus is dead.”
In our opening verse above, Paul reprimanded the Corinthians for being carnal in their communication and understanding. On another occasion, he said to the Christians in Rome, “I have to communicate with you at your level because you’re yet to come to a higher level of maturity.” He said, “I speak this way, using the illustration of slaves and masters, because it is easy to understand…” (Romans 6:19 TLB). If the Holy Spirit through Apostle Paul reprimanded them for being spiritually immature, that means His will for us is to be spiritually mature, and one way to know a spiritually mature Christian is through his communication, how he talks.

For instance, you can’t say “I have a headache” just because you felt one. No! When you come of age, you only endorse and say what you have that God gave to you, accepting nothing that’s from the devil! Don’t talk sickness, even when you feel the symptoms of disease in your body. Use the Word against any pain or anomaly in your body; command it to cease, and it’ll pass out of your body. Hebrews 13:5-6 says, “…for He Himself (God) has said…so we may boldly say….” Talk only spiritual truth. Speak the Word only, and always.

? Speak
I’m what God says I am. God’s Word is my life; therefore, I live out the Word. The Word of God is in my heart and in my mouth, and as I speak it forth, circumstances align with God’s perfect will for my life, in Jesus’ Name.
