THE EXQUISITE YOU
(He’s Made You Lovely In Every Way)
👤 Pastor Chris Oyakhilome;
📖 TO THE BIBLE
Psalm 50:2 AMP C “Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.”
▶️ LET’S TALK
Zion, in today’s opening scripture, refers to the Church of Jesus Christ (which is His Body), of which you’re a member (Hebrews 12:22-24). It’s the place where we live as God’s children, and the Bible says it’s perfect in beauty. This means you’re truly perfect in beauty. You’re the epitome and perfection of exquisite beauty; you’re the most beautiful thing the world has ever seen. And this beauty has nothing to do with your facial features or the complexion of your skin or the shape of your body. It has everything to do with you being the glory of God (2 Corinthians 3:18). What could be more beautiful than that?
When you use your physical mirror, you might see something you don’t like; you may not like the way your hair, nose, ears, eyes look but in your spirit, you’re as beautiful as God is. So, see yourself the way God sees you, and you can only do that by looking at yourself in His mirror, which is His Word. You’re uniquely and wonderfully made, so don’t wish you were someone else, for God doesn’t have anyone like you. Nobody in the world has ever been or will ever be exactly like you.
No one smiles or laughs exactly the way you do; nobody can do things the way you can. You’re God’s special, exquisite “you,” and He wants you to know you’re very important to Him and perfectly beautiful in His sight. You’re more beautiful than what you see because you look like your heavenly Father
