HE’S ALWAYS NEAR ;
(Never Fear: God Is With You Everywhere You Go)
TO THE BIBLE Hebrews 13:5-6 ;
“…He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?””
LET’S TALK➡
“I need to get home but I can’t use that dark alley passage!” Harold thought as he walked home from church late in the evening. “What if someone’s waiting in there to hurt me?” He always dreaded being alone in dark corners and alleys because he had been bullied in that alley at age 7, and that nasty experience left a mark on his memory. He was just about to take the longer route home when he suddenly heard a very calming voice talk to him from deep within: “Fear not, son, I’m always with you. No one will hurt you.” Immediately there arose confidence in him to walk the alley, and as he did, he realized that his fears were unnecessary because the Lord was with him, protecting and guiding him.
I wonder if you’ve been cautious like Harold. Well, look again at the opening scripture, and you’ll realize that you shouldn’t be. From the way a lot of Christians live their lives, one can’t but wonder whether or not they’ve ever seen this portion of the Bible. Some Christians are afraid of just about everything. Having come across this truth from the Word of God, fear should forever be banished from your life, because God is with you.
He says, “I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]” (Hebrews 13:5-6 AMPC). That’s God’s solemn Word to you, letting you know that you’re never alone. He’s with you and He’s got your back covered. Refuse to fear and worry; just rest and enjoy the glory of His presence, and when you’re conscious of God’s presence with you, you wouldn’t recognize the absence of others. Be restful and at peace, knowing that He is with you always to perfect all that concerns you.

5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He, Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
6 So we may boldly say:
“The LORD is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”
PRAY▶
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for your presence with me. I know you’re with me always. I do not fear, fret or despair because you’re more than able to perfect what concerns me today and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
