(You’ll Definitely Know When God Speaks To You)
TO THE BIBLE
John 10:27 MSG “My sheep recognize my voice. I know them, and they follow me.”
A lan snickered, as he listened to Frederica’s strong invitation to him to come over for a church service the coming weekend. She’d mentioned that God had a special Word for him and that he should come hear it, and He didn’t quite understand how she had “heard” God tell her that specifically about him, especially after just meeting her. Notwithstanding, he obliged her, and that decision changed his life forever, as he was healed of a five-year incurable ailment!.
Sometimes, when we say God said something to us, there’re those who get confused and say, “Really, God talked to you? What language did He speak?” They’re ignorant of the fact that man is a spirit and God is a spirit. He speaks “spirit-language”; it’s a spirit to-spirit communication, which your spirit understands. His language isn’t English, French, Portuguese or any other earthly language, but you’ll hear Him in whatever language you understand when He talks to you.
Language is nothing but coded sound. For example, if I say to you, “tata,” it’ll probably mean nothing to you. But if there’s an agreement between two or more people for it to mean “come,” they’ll respond when they hear it. With spirit-language, God can talk to anyone or anything. The Bible says, “He determines and counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by their names” (Psalm 147:4 AMPC).
The next time you see a shooting or a falling star, remember that God calls them by name and they understand Him. God and His Word are one, and He only speaks to you in consistency with His Word. The more you study God’s Word, the more you familiarize yourself with His voice, and are able to respond to Him when He speaks to you.
The mighty God, even the Lord , hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
Dear Father, I thank you for the ability to hear and recognize your voice. I walk in the spirit, and not in the flesh. Therefore, my spirit is constantly trained by your Word to hear and discern your voice as you lead me in perpetual triumph, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
