Ephesians 5:29-30 “For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.”

In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul shows us, by the Spirit, just how inseparably connected to the Lord we are. He said we’re “…members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.” Isn’t it wonderful that the Father doesn’t separate us from the Son Jesus Christ? To Him, you and Jesus have become one!
The Lord Jesus expressed this oneness with us when He said in John 15:5: “I am the vine; you’re the branches….” Just as the branches of a tree are connected to a stem and receive life from it, so you’re connected to the Lord Jesus and His life is flowing through you right now! That life isn’t the same type you got from your dad and mum, but a new one—the life that brought Jesus out of the grave— the resurrection life! Romans 6:4 says, “Your old sin-loving nature was buried with him by baptism when he died; and when God the Father, with glorious power, brought him back to life again, you were given his wonderful new life to enjoy” (TLB).
His resurrection brought you into a newness of life. Walk in the consciousness of your new life in Him; it’s yours to enjoy! Your past doesn’t exist; you’re a new creation; a superior creation, perfected in Christ Jesus. You’re not of this world. Have and live with this consciousness every day.

Dear Lord, thank you for the indissoluble oneness I have with you; your life in me makes me supernatural, impregnable to sickness, diseases or infirmity. I live in victory and in the dominion of the Spirit today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
