(Christ Is Your Life)
TO THE BIBLE: Colossians 3:2-4
“Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”
LET’S TALK
“Christ is your life!” Do you know what this means? It means that the very life of God is coursing through your veins right now. You see, the moment you were born again, you received an indestructible life that’s higher than that of the ordinary man. I’m not making this up; it’s all in the Word of God!
1 Peter 1:23 MSG says, “Your new life is not like your old life. Your old birth came from mortal sperm; your new birth comes from God’s living Word. Just think: a life conceived by God himself!” He’s saying your new life came from God’s Word and can’t be destroyed: it remains forever. John the apostle also wrote, “Beloved, now we are children of God…” (1 John 3:2), which means you’re His child with His life in you now, not when you get to heaven!
Do you realise having God’s life in you is the answer to every health challenge you may have in your body? The doctor may have carried out his tests and given a diagnosis, but remember God’s Word says, “You’re the healed” (1 Peter 2:24). The question now is, “Whose report will you believe, God’s or the doctor’s?” Believe and confess that Christ is your life, and you wouldn’t succumb to any report other than God’s Word. Remember that “…you have a new life. It was not passed on to you from your parents, for the life they gave you will fade away: This new one will last forever, for it comes from Christ, Gods ever-living Message to men” (1 Peter 1:23 TLB).

Don’t be quiet about the life of Christ in you; let everyone around you know that Christ is your life. If someone says to you, “You’ve caught the flu,” look at him straight in the eyes and say, “I don’t catch the flu, for Christ is my life!”
