TO THE BIBLE: Hebrews 10:19-21 MSG
‘So, friends, we can now—without hesitation—walk right up to God, into “the Holy Place.” Jesus has cleared the way by the blood of his sacrifice, acting as our priest before God. The “curtain” into God’s presence is his body.’
LET’S TALK
Back in the Old Testament, no one except the High Priest dared enter into “the Holy Place.” Even so, he could only do that once in a year. But today, as believers in Christ, we dwell in the very presence of God. We no longer need anyone to pray for us or go into God’s presence on our behalf.
You can approach the Father yourself and ask what you want. The Bible says, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). You were granted unrestricted access to your Heavenly Father the moment you received Christ Jesus.
Now you can talk freely with Him and fellowship with Him without an intermediary. When you pray, you have a right of hearing at the throne of grace. You don’t have to feel condemned or unworthy anymore, for He loves you and delights in your prayers, and His eyes are ever watching over you.
