HE’S SO CHILL AND COOL
(Jesus Is The Radiance of God’s Glory)
👤 Pastor Chris Oyakhilome;
📖 TO THE BIBLE
2 Corinthians 3:17-18 NASB “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”
◀️ LET’S TALK
When you learn to get excited about who you are in Christ, it’ll make a whole world of difference for you. Think about it: Nobody can get as excited about your life as you can. That’s why you ought to let the Godlife reflect in everything about you, including the way you dress and look. You’re royalty; so, don’t look dull and uninteresting! When you get up in the morning, before you head out, look into the mirror, point at your reflection and tell him/her: “You’re a bundle of success happening everywhere you go! You’re on an upward and forward journey of success!”
But more importantly than using a physical mirror, use God’s mirror—His Word. 2 Corinthians 3:18 (AMPC) says when you “…behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord,” you’re changed into the image you see, which is the glory of God! So it pays to look first in God’s mirror, like you’re doing now, because then, you’ll see the real you.
Hebrews 1:3 (NIV) also says, “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word….” Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory, and when you look at Him, you see the glory of God. He wasn’t stuck-up like the Pharisees with all their religious outfits and holier-than-thou attitudes and traditions that made the Word of God ineffective. Rather, He’s full of unconditional love for everyone, and unending glory, joy, and miracles always result in His presence.

Dear Lord Jesus, I love everything about you. Thank you because you’ve made me exactly like you. You’re the glory of God and that’s why I’m unruffled and in charge of everything around me. I’m as chill, cool, calm, and composed as you are.
