“One day while he was teaching, some Jewish religious leaders and teachers of the Law were sitting nearby. (It seemed that these men showed up from every village in all Galilee and Judea, as well as from Jerusalem.) And the Lord’s healing power was upon him. ”

LET’S TALK

As a child of God, you carry the presence of the Holy Spirit, Who is the power of God in and around you (John 14:17). This brings the power of God to heal the sick, deliver the oppressed, and put the devil on the run.

You can’t afford to carry such power and be quiet about it. You’ve got to believe in this power of the Spirit, and use it in faith. When you’re confronted with any challenge, you can bring about the desired change by acting your faith.

You stir up that power by speaking in other tongues, and effect the changes you desire. Remember the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:28); she took advantage of the presence of God’s healing power by releasing her faith, and the Lord approved of her action and commended her faith.
