LET’S TALK➡
“Dad, why can’t I walk like every normal child? Why do the doctors say I have to use a wheelchair? When would I go back to school? Would I ever be well again?” little Jocelyn inquired of her father as he carried her on his shoulders out of the hospital after a medical examination. Her dad answered, “You’ll be fine, darling. You will surely walk again!”
This story of Jocelyn reminds me of a similar experience. Many years ago, the younger of my two daughters was diagnosed with a paralytic condition. This meant that she’d never be able to stand, walk or even run. She was just a little girl at the time! However, I refused to accept the medical report but prayed and received her healing as today’s opening verse tells us. I refused to fear but through the eyes of my spirit, I saw my daughter walking, in Jesus’ Name. I saw and called her healthy and strong! Guess what? She’s walking today!
You may be reading this devotional today and thinking, “I need healing for this pain that would never go.” It may be someone you know who requires healing. It may as well be another form of miracle that you require. Whatever the case is, you must see that change or miracle first in your spirit. Then take hold of your miracle from your spirit and declare it by faith in the Name of Jesus. This principle works every time!
GO DEEPER
2 Corinthians 4:18
while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
PRAY?
My spirit is flooded with the light of God’s Word, and I see and apprehend what belongs to me by faith. Therefore, I declare that I live in divine health and prosperity; I enjoy success and victory every day, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!
