BE A CHAMPION!

(Inspire That Positive Change In Your Nation)

To The Bible 1 Samuel 17:31-32 CEV

‘“Some soldiers overheard David talking, so they told Saul what David had said. Saul sent for David, and David came. “Your Majesty,” he said, “this Philistine shouldn’t turn us into cowards. I’ll go out and fight him myself!”’

LET’S TALK

When Goliath, the giant of Gath terrorized the children of Israel, it was David who went up against him and killed him, bringing the fear of God upon the Philistines (1 Samuel 17:20-58). He also fought for the rights of the less-privileged (1 Samuel 22:2) because he was a champion. The same could be said of Moses, who God raised to deliver Israel from Egypt’s bondage into their Promised Land.

Just like King David and Moses the deliverer, you too can champion a cause to help change and improve the lives of others around you, and in your country at large. Who is a champion, you might ask? A champion is anyone who wins battles for others; he helps others achieve their goals and dreams, and he’s considerate and passionate about the success of others. He’s a leader who speaks up for others, defends them, and fights for their rights and honour, and he doesn’t do these for selfish interests.

I charge you to be a champion today. The Lord has brought you up this far, to lead and inspire those in your sphere of contact. He wants you to be a role model to others, impacting them with your godly character and pleasant personality. So, be passionate about them; go ahead to inspire that positive change you desire in your nation. Remember it only takes a spark to light up a forest. You can do it!

Dear Father, I thank you for inspiring in me today the urge and need to be a champion for my generation, and everyone in my nation and world. I declare that, by your wisdom and power in me, I’ll use whatever position of influence I find myself to impact positively on everyone in my sphere of contact, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
