TO THE BIBLE: 1 Corinthians 2:6 NIV
“We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.”
LET’S TALK
The Apostle Paul talked about two types of wisdom in the Bible: the wisdom of God and man’s wisdom. He clearly distinguished between the two; saying that man’s wisdom was based only on what his senses could perceive, and its domain of operation was this material world. Because of this, man’s communication is limited to the level which his senses can relate to in the world.
On the other hand, the wisdom of God transcends the material world. It’s the wisdom that calls things that are not existing as though they were (Romans 4:17). It’s the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world for our glory (1 Corinthians 2:7). In the world, when someone comes up with a certain pain in the head, man’s wisdom diagnoses it and reports migraine. However, when the mature in Christ feels the same pain, in the same part of the body, even with the same diagnosis, he doesn’t say, “I have migraine.” No! His communication is different; because he’s not taught by man’s wisdom.
Instead of speaking based on man’s wisdom, he speaks in conformity with God’s Word and declares, “I’ve got the life of God in me.” The wisdom of God speaks life and health, based on the revelation of God’s Word. Therefore, when a believer says, “I refuse to be sick,” it’s not so he won’t get sick. Rather his confession will take charge of his health, and he begins to enjoy life in Christ.

Speak
The wisdom of God is at work in me. I refuse to base my opinions, judgments, and responses on sensory perceptions; I live by the Word, in the Word and through the Word! Therefore, my victory in life is guaranteed in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Act
Renew your communication, don’t speak based on man’s wisdom. Instead, speak in conformity with the Word of God today, and always.
