LOOK INTO GOD’S MIRROR
HOLD ONLY GOD’S PERCEPTION OF YOU IN YOUR MIND
TO THE BIBLE – 2 Corinthians 3:18 AMPC
“And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit. ”
LET’S TALK
Diane always spends countless minutes in front of her tall mirror every morning, just before she sets out from home. She would regularly catch a glimpse of herself and adjust her hair anytime she passed cars, with tinted windows, in her neighbourhood. As such, she was always quite confident that she looked the part for anything that came her way every day. That’s the power of a mirror!
Whenever you look into a mirror, you always expect to see yourself. That’s because a mirror reflects the image of any object before it. Now, the Word of God is the mirror of God that reveals to you the way God really sees you. In 2 Corinthians 3:18 above, God is saying that when you stand before His mirror, what you’ll see reflected is the glory of God. If your reflection is the glory of God, then you’re the glory of God.
As you continue to discover who you really are in the Word of God, you’ll be transformed into everything the Word says about. What you see about yourself right now in the natural may not be encouraging; you may be struggling with some bad habit or disease. Relax, the Bible says, “…we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18).
What matters right now is how the Lord sees you. Other people may not see you as the glory of God, but God sees you in a light which no other person can. Remember, He created you. Refuse to see yourself the way other people or even your mind describes you. See yourself only through the eyes of the Lord Who sees you as His glory and trophy of victory.

Through the revelation of the Word, I live a life of victory. I see through the eyes of God to know that I am who God says I am, and I can do what He says I can do.
