HIS PEACE CALMS ALL STORMS ;
(Jesus Conquered The World And Gave You Peace Within)
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome;
TO THE BIBLE;
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
LET’S TALK
Today’s world is looking for peace in the strangest of places; it’s trying to do everything to have peace, but the more it tries, the more it eludes it. The Bible says, “When people are saying, All is well and secure, and, There is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction (ruin and death) will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape” (1 Thessalonians 5:3 AMPC). This is the dilemma that the people of the world are in today.
However, Jesus has given us His Word and told us in John 16:33 MSG, “I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world, you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.” He overcame the world and gave us the victory over the world. He actually conquered the world, and when He was through, He gave us peace.
He said, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you...” (John 14:27); in other words, “I’ve given you the peace that the world can’t give.” The peace that you have in your spirit is the peace of Jesus Christ that surpasses understanding.
Circumstances may not look right; everything looks like there’s trouble, yet the inexplicable and indescribable peace of God garrisons your heart and mind! The world can’t understand how come you’re so much at peace in the midst of crises. That’s the peace that Jesus gives; it gives you power over crises and it beats the understanding of the one without Christ!

I have peace in my spirit! I testify that I’m at peace in every situation, for Christ is my peace; therefore, I live and walk in peace, every day of my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
