HAVE THEY ALL HEARD?
(Share The Good News With Everyone In Your World!)
TO THE BIBLE
Mark 16:15-16 TLB
“…You are to go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere. Those who believe and are baptized will be saved. But those who refuse to believe will be condemned.”
LET’S TALK
“Phew!” That was a sigh of relief from Basil! He’d finally preached to everyone on his list of souls on his street, and they’d all received salvation. It took him quite a while to personally reach everyone in his neighbourhood with the Gospel, yet it was worth the venture, as he had spent many days praying for and sharing with each person the Gospel of Christ, till all were born again.
It may surprise you to know how many of your nextdoor neighbours are yet to hear about Jesus. This thought motivated me back then, and still does today, to go all out, preaching the Gospel to everyone. Growing up as a Christian, I went from street to street, and from house to house, telling people about Jesus. I felt the onus was on me to tell the untold, and reach the unreached; to let the whole world know that Jesus came into the world to die for our sins, and was buried, and raised back to life for our justification. This is the greatest news on planet earth!
To receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and be born again, is the best thing that could ever happen to anyone. As a Christian, you have a divine mandate to preach the Gospel to those in your world and the regions beyond. God has committed to you the ministry of reconciling men back to Him (2 Corinthians 5:18).
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for sustainable progress and development for any nation or people. It holds God’s answer to all of the predicaments of humanity (Romans 1:16-17). For the influence, impact and effect of righteousness to increase in our nation, we must keep preaching the Gospel. The realisation that Jesus, the Son of God, died for the salvation of the world and yet some still haven’t heard about Him should motivate you to preach and tell everyone you meet about Jesus.
GO DEEPER
Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
2 Corinthians 5:18
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
PRAY
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for counting me faithful to commit unto me the ministry of reconciliation. You’ve chosen and anointed me to preach the Gospel with power and impact my world with your divine presence. I thank you for this glorious mandate, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
