Don’t be the kind of person who speaks positive today but talks negative the next, just because things don’t seem to be working out. Keep your confessions firmly aligned with God’s Word.

To the Bible Proverbs 15:4 AMP

“A gentle tongue [with its healing power] is a tree of life, but willful contrariness in it breaks down the spirit.”

LET’S TALK

Did you know that as a spirit being, you live in two worlds? Yes, you live in both the spiritual and physical realms at the same time. It’s important you understand that in the realm of the spirit, you’re not allowed to speak confusing or conflicting words, for if you do, they’ll throw your life out of order. When you speak, your words go into the realm of the spirit and function for or against you. This is why you must maintain an unwavering confession of God’s Word, in spite of contrary situations.

For you to have a stable and enjoyable life, you must let God’s Word influence and control your thinking and speech. You must maintain the right confessions all the time, even in the midst of contrary situations. This is why Hebrews 6:12 says you should be, “…like those who believe and are patient, and so receive what God has promised” (GNB). Abraham is such a good example to emulate, because he didn’t stagger at God’s Word but was “…fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform” (Romans 4:21). He didn’t say one thing today and contradict himself the next. He believed God’s Word and spoke the same all the time.

This is the same attitude God expects you to have. Be consistent in your confession of His Word and it will be established in your life.
