You have to put a priority on the Word of God above every other thing. Have an earnest desire for God’s Word every day.
To The Bible Matthew 5:6 NIV
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”
LET’S TALK
As a young lad many years ago, I’d sneak into minister’s conferences and Bible School classes to hear God’s Word. There were times I would pray to God, “Please, don’t let them fish me out,” because I was usually the youngest in such meetings, and wasn’t even meant to be there. But I did that out of my hunger for the Word. Thank God He answered my prayers, because those meetings inspired me a great deal, and motivated me for what I’m doing today.
You see, it’s important for you to learn while you’re still young to give priority to the Word of God over every other thing. Nurture your craving for God’s Word. Peter said, “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk…” (1 Peter 2:2 NIV), and that spiritual milk is God’s Word.
When I attended those meetings, I took my mind off everything else and stayed focused, because my priority was God and His Word. There were many times I missed meals, in order to get in early, for those meetings. But they changed my life forever, as I received many revelations and answers to several questions in my mind. The Word can yield the same results in your life, when your desire for it is strong enough.
You can strengthen your desire by spending more time studying the Word, and praying. That way, your heart will always be hungry for God’s Word

RELATE:
Prayer
Heavenly Father, stir up a passionate hunger in my heart for your Word, even as I submit myself to the tutorship of your Spirit. Let it be the deep cry of my soul in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Act
Daily train your mind with the Word of God, that’s what the Spirit of God wants you to do. As you spend more time in the Word, you’ll desire more of the Word and you’ll be transformed by it on the inside.
