(Bring Spiritual Realities Into The Physical By Faith)
TO THE BIBLE – Hebrews 11:1 AMPC
“NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”
Colossians 1:13 tells us, that as believers, we’ve been delivered from the power of darkness, and have been translated into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. Therefore, we should learn how to function effectively in this spiritual kingdom. Ephesians 1:3 lets us know that in this Kingdom, God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings. These include all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3); all of these blessings exist in the realm of the spirit.
Accordingly, your healing, prosperity, success, and victory are already realities in the spirit realm. But how do you grab hold of these spiritual realities, and make them real in your life in this natural world? That’s where your faith comes in. What is faith? Faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. Recall what Jesus said about the Holy Spirit, that He shall guide you into all truth. In other words, He shall guide you into all reality, for He is the Spirit of Reality.
This means that the Holy Spirit makes the Word of God real to us. Therefore, when you act in response to those realities that you see in the Word of God, that’s faith! Faith is apprehending the realities of the spiritual kingdom to which you belong, and super-imposing them on the natural world. In other words, when you talk about your health, healing, prosperity, and your glorious life in Christ, you’re not merely trying to make something happen; you’re only walking in the realities that exist in the spirit-realm to which you belong.
Hebrews 11:1-3; Hebrews 11:6
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the power of your Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life. I thank you for enlightening my Spirit to know and apprehend all that you’ve made available to me in Christ; I’m walking in the reality of my inheritance in Christ, conscious that I’ve overcome the world and its systems, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
