Meditating on scriptures each day keeps the doctor away!
To the Bible Proverbs 4:20-23 NLT
“My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body. Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”
LET’S TALK
If you woke up one morning feeling symptoms of a flu, what’s the first thing that’ll come to your mind? “I’ve got to tell mummy to take me to go see the doctor” or “I need to take some meds so I can feel better”?
Well, there’s something even better than the doctor’s prescription and pills, and that’s God’s Word. It’s the best medicine for your body. It has healing power and rejuvenating ability. It brings healing and soundness to your body. As you meditate on the Word of God, and allow it get into your spirit, it’ll destroy sickness and make you “uninfectable.” You might not feel as though there’s any positive change in your body at that moment, but don’t stop. Keep at it, because health and healing are being perfected in your physical body, and before long you’ll see the physical manifestation.
If symptoms of sickness ever show up in your body, take in God’s Word. If you’d take in God’s Word as diligently as you would the doctor’s prescription, not only will the Word destroy every single trace of sickness, it’ll also give you divine immunity and protection against sickness, disease and infirmity. Glory to God!
