GOD IS EVER FAITHFUL ; EVER FAITHFUL, EVER SURE

People can change, but God never changes. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. He’s ever-faithful, ever-sure!

LET’S TALK

The Lord is the same today as He always has been. He’s a faithful God, and is always true to His Word. There’s no inconsistency or two-facedness with Him; He’s totally dependable. He’s not like humans who can lie and make empty promises. Maybe today, you’ve got an issue to deal with, and you’re wondering what to do. Remember that God is faithful, and you can rely on Him for help.

You might say, “But, Pastor Anita, I haven’t really been faithful to Him; would He still be interested in helping me?” Well, the Bible says, He’ll never remove from you His steadfast love or be false to His faithfulness towards you (Psalm 89:33 RSV). Even if you’ve been faithless, He remains faithful, because He can’t deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:13). So, if you’d call on Him for help today, He’ll reach out and rescue you from that trouble.

You’re not alone in this world. The Lord is with you, and He lives in you. Therefore, be bold to declare, “The faithful and greater One lives in me.” Hebrews 10:23 tells us to “…hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” So, keep His Word in your heart, and in your mouth, and it’ll surely come to pass.
