Acts 22:14 “…The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the voice of His mouth.”

“How can you say you know God’s plan for your life?” Tony questioned Samantha. “I do know it because He lives in me and talks to me; I know His heart and will for me,” Samantha claimed. “Can you show me how to know God for myself?” “Sure, it’s very easy. Once you become a Christian, He will speak to you always, through His Word and Spirit.”
The one who’s not born again can’t tell the will of God, because it’s mysterious to him. 1 Corinthians 2:14 says, “… the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” But this isn’t so for you that are born again. Jesus said it’s given to you to know the secrets and hidden things of the Kingdom of God (Mark 4:11, Luke 8:10).
You’ve been chosen to know God’s will. It’s your heritage in Christ. This means there shouldn’t be doubts or uncertainties in your life; you can know and walk in God’s perfect will at all times. The Christians in Colosse, at the time of Paul’s letter to them, were still babies in Christ. So, Paul and Timothy prayed for them to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will: “For this reason we also… do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding” (Colossians 1:9). They couldn’t have been praying for the Colossian Christians to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will if they themselves hadn’t been filled with the knowledge of His will. It’s part of the reasons we emphasise meditating on the Word, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
God and His Word are one, and His Word is His will expressed. More so, the Word of God is the wisdom of God, and wisdom is walking in the will of God. Get to know the Word, and you’ll never walk in confusion.

Dear Father, as I meditate on your Word and fellowship with your Spirit, your will is unveiled to my spirit. My spirit is enlightened, and I have insight into mysteries and secrets. Your wisdom directs me, causing me to manifest righteousness everywhere I go, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
