GOD ALWAYS HAS SOMETHING BETTER FOR YOU;
IT ALWAYS GETS BETTER
TO THE BIBLE – Proverbs 4:18
“But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.”
LET’S TALK
Do you know there are some people on this planet right now who don’t know anything about electricity? They probably live in some remote village and are completely unaware of the existence of the computer, the telephone and even the electric light bulb, which have improved the quality of life of the rest of the world. Likewise, the reason many Christians suffer and struggle is that they’re unaware God has something better for them. Consequently, they suffer different kinds of troubles in their bodies, families, education, and other areas of their lives, without any hope that things will get better.
Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, “…If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, “Give Me a drink,” you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water” (John 4:10). Prior to that time, everything the woman had, including the water she came to fetch at the well, provided only temporary satisfaction. She didn’t know something better existed until she met Jesus and He introduced her to a better and greater life. When you come to Jesus, He will show you something better than what you already have. It doesn’t matter where you are financially, academically or spiritually, there’s still a better and greater life to discover.
Christianity is a beautiful life where everything just keeps getting better and better. Where you’re starting from doesn’t matter, just know you’re on your way to the top. God has given us His Word and His Spirit, “…that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God” (1 Corinthians 2:12). It makes no difference what your situation is, there’s always something better for you in Christ. “Is there really something better than this?” you wonder. There sure is!
