(The Gift Of Righteousness And Abundant Grace Make You Reign)

Romans 5:17 “For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)”

Righteousness is the nature of God; it’s the rightness of God in the human spirit; the quality of being conformed to His truth or revealed will. When you were born again, you received this nature of righteousness; and now you can truly express the will and nature of the Father.
Your nature of righteousness gives you the authority to reign in life. See how the Amplified Classic Bible version puts it: “…Much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)” (Romans 5:17). Understand that this scripture isn’t talking about reigning in heaven; it’s speaking of reigning here on earth!
You’re born to reign in this life! When you make a decree in adverse circumstances, expect them to change, because there’s power in your word (Ecclesiastes 8:4). Therefore, you should live above fear, want, sickness, disease, or infirmity. Never chicken out in the face of pressure; instead, give the Word like a king that you are, and things will surely change in your favour.

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of righteousness you’ve given me. I stand strong in this immeasurable grace. I’m reigning indeed as a king that you’ve made me, making decrees and expressing your will and nature to my world, in Jesus’ Name.
