GET VOCAL FOR JESUS CHRIST;
(Shun All Fear And Live For God’s Glory)
? Pastor Chris Oyakhilome;
? TO THE BIBLE
2 Corinthians 5:14-15 TLB “…Whatever we do, it is certainly not for our own profit but because Christ’s love controls us now. Since we believe that Christ died for all of us, we should also believe that we have died to the old life we used to live. He died for all so that all who live—having received eternal life from him—might live no longer for themselves, to please themselves, but to spend their lives pleasing Christ who died and rose again for them.”
◀️ LET’S TALK
Phil was shy even as he’d just started learning about the Lord Jesus; at school, he’d sit at the back of the class most times, not wanting to draw too much attention to himself amongst his classmates, who usually jeered at him for talking about Jesus. One day, while he was at Church, he received the Holy Spirit and spoke in other tongues, and he was so overjoyed. The next morning at school, he realised that his shyness was gone; he went straight to the front of the class and shared the Gospel with his class, with boldness.
Always remember, soul winning is our primary responsibility as Christians. The Apostles lived for this cause. Many have suffered severe persecutions and even lost their lives for preaching the Gospel. Stick your neck out for the Gospel. Don’t be afraid or intimidated to stand up and speak up for what you believe. In your home, school, neighbourhood, be known as an ambassador of Christ; a burning and a shining light. Even when you’re reviled or disdained for preaching the Gospel, keep at it, because your adversaries don’t count; they’re not a factor.
Nothing, and no one, can hurt or harm you, because Christ is your life; He’s your defence. The Lord has sent you, and will therefore see to it that you triumph gloriously always—over and above every adversity. Devote your life to reaching others with the Gospel.

Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the opportunity and ability to influence those in my world with the Gospel. I thank you for your blessings and extraordinary provisions in my life, and for the strength, boldness and courage you’ve granted me to proclaim the Gospel with power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
