GET TO UNDERSTAND DEEP SPIRITUAL TRUTHS
After you’ve received Christ and are born again, you shouldn’t remain a baby in the things of God. Grow up by understanding how righteous you are in Christ.

“…When a person is still living on milk it shows he isn’t very far along in the Christian life, and doesn’t know much about the difference between right and wrong. He is still a baby Christian!”
LET’S TALK
You’ll likely conclude he has a medical problem. But that’s just like some Christians who have been born again a long time, but are still spiritual babies. They feed on the milk of God’s Word, and find it difficult to grasp fundamental spiritual truths.
There’s a way you can tell who a baby Christian is; Hebrews 5:12-13 describes him as one who doesn’t understand God’s message of righteousness, which is the nature of God that has been imparted to him, and which separates him from evil, sin, guilt, condemnation, fear, sickness, and poverty.
The problem with this is that without a clear understanding of righteousness, a Christian can’t live victoriously over the enemy. He’ll be subject to the laws and principles of this world (Galatians 4:3). This is why you must not remain as a baby Christian for long. Desire to grow up in Christ, and leave baby food. Go beyond the elementary stage and start developing yourself spiritually until you become a mature man or woman in Christ who can eat the strong meat of God’s Word. Then you’ll walk in the consciousness of your righteousness in Christ, and the perfection and rightness of God will be manifested through you.
