TO THE BIBLE: 1 John 5:11-12
“And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

LET’S TALK
Some people are members of secret or cult groups because they believe that’s where they can get something more than the natural human life. Indeed, there is a life beyond the ordinary human life, and that’s the God-life! You only find this life when you make Jesus Christ Lord of your life. It’s the life He had when He walked the face of the earth, and He had the fullness of it in Him: “For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell” (Colossians 1:19).

The God-life is a special kind of life. It’s the life that, if a man would have, he would live like God does. It’s a life that can’t be overcome by the devil, sickness, failure, defeat, poverty, or darkness. Peter was conscious of this life in him, and that’s why he was bold enough to tell Aeneas who had been paralysed for eight years, “Jesus Christ has healed you! Get up and make up your bed” (Acts 9:34 CEV). As soon as Aeneas heard that, he got up immediately!

If you believe that God raised Jesus back to life, and have confessed Him as your Lord and Saviour, you have this same life. The Bible says, “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life…” (1 John 5:11-12). To enjoy this life, you have to live in the consciousness of it every day.
