Ephesians 1:17-18 AMPC
“[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation
[of insight into mysteries and secrets]
in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, by having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones).”
LET’S TALK➡
The “Spirit of wisdom” refers to the operations of the Spirit of God in wisdom; it’s God’s Spirit manifesting Himself in wisdom. I taught extensively about wisdom in a series titled “Three Kinds of Wisdom,” but here I’ll show you some things the Spirit of wisdom does for you when He functions in your life.
First, the Spirit of Wisdom brings you revelation— insight into mysteries and secrets. Secondly, He brings you light; in other words, He floods your path with light and illuminates your mind to be able to comprehend things in an extraordinary way. Thirdly, He brings you counsel and direction, such that life ceases to be mysterious to you. You’ll always know what to do, how to do it, and when.
As a child of God, you’ve been filled with the Spirit of wisdom. What you need to do is acknowledge this and say, “I have the Spirit of wisdom; therefore I have insight into mysteries and secrets; I have extraordinary amplitude of comprehension to deal wisely in all my affairs. The compelling force to function at the highest level of excellence and in the perfect will of God, is at work in me today. Hallelujah!”

Dear Father, thank you for filling me with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full and exact knowledge of God. Thank you for flooding my heart with light, and granting me spiritual insight into mysteries and divine secrets, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
