YOUR BODY IS CHRIST’S
CHRIST IS ALIVE IN YOUR PHYSICAL BODY
TO THE BIBLE: 1 Corinthians 6:15 “Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ?…”
The Apostle Paul, in the verse above, declares that our bodies are members of Christ, referring to our individual bodies. This means we’re joined to the Lord spiritually and physically! It isn’t just our spirits that are joined to the Body of Christ; our very physical bodies are part of His body as well. Ephesians 5:30 tells us “…we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.” This means that the life of Christ is manifested through our bodies. Christ literally lives in you! He dwells in your spirit and expresses Himself through your physical body. He’s alive in you.
This is why sickness, disease, and weakness ought not to come into, let alone thrive in your physical body. You’re the habitation of Christ, and the Bible says if Christ is in you, no infirmity can ravage your physical body (Romans 8:10-11). The reason many have suffered so much trouble in their physical bodies with respect to their health is their lack of knowledge. Following what Christ accomplished for us through His death, burial and glorious resurrection, no child of God should be sick or afflicted by the devil.
You’re the temple of the Holy Spirit; Christ rules and functions in your physical body. You should have this consciousness. Your body is the member of Christ; therefore, the life of Christ is manifested in, and through you. Christ is your life (Colossians 3:4), and He’s alive in you. Meditate on this truth.
For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Christ is alive in me, and I am a partaker of His divine nature. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and I show forth the glory, beauty, excellence and perfections of Christ today, in Jesus Name. Amen.
